Npro Open

I am currently using Babolat Aero Pro Drive, with string tension 56-58(depending on type of string), I am mainly a topspin Baseliner.

However, One of my babolat racquets has got a crack on it, and should break in sometime, if i play with it. (How it got a crack on it is a mystery I am still solving,coz. I keep my racquets with good care,but it was anyways 3 years+ old).

How good is Wilson nPro Open, for a topspin baseliner, how close is to Aero pro drive in terms of statistics.

The only thing that is still keeping me thinking is its swing weight that is 302, which is around 20 points lighter then almost all racquets. Other statistics are just fine, and comparable to Aero Pro.

Please lemme know of Npro Open, review on T-W are good overall. Any other recommendations, if not nPro ?

The best option would be buy another Babolat Aero Pro Drive (black one) and get going, but I don't prefer babolat anymore.

I think, that npro open, might help improve some shots and game. Racquets are not available for demo here, where i live.

I am a hard hitting Top Spinner, My usual 15G gut goes for like 7-8 hrs and 16G for around 4-5 hrs. I am a bit weak at volleys and net though.

Racquets Considering:
Microgel Extreme Pro ( Standard Length )
Prince 03 tour or Hybrid tour.
Wilson Npro open
Aero Pro Drive (Without Cortex).

my bro was buying a rack for me at ******* Sports, NY. i did ask him to ask them about various racks including the npro open. they did not recommend it, said it had too much power.
they recommended the nblade. altho i have played with neither, the nblade seems to be much better.

I like the Npro Open a lot, a few kids on my school team play with them and I have hit with them. They are very good racquets for baseliners, and produce good topspin and control. Not as good as my Head Microgel Radical Pro tho ;) :p

nPro Open is a really nice hitting stick...but its awfully light to me I recall 309 SW...if it had a bit more mass it would be wonderful. The nPro Open X is heavier and although I dont generally like X racquets it was better IMO.

I think the npro open is a very good stick for juniors looking for their first full length racquet, A tad too light if you are playing against heavy pace and spin IMO.

I hit with the nPro Open and the nPro Surge. They're very similar, but I preferred the weighting of the Surge.

I agree. The nPro Open is tad light, IME. I used the OpenX for several seasons and it felt much better overall with more weight in the handle and the upper hoop.

Yeah...may be right.

Lower swing weight was only keeping me away from it, may be I would love more heft to get a good feel, like the current Babolat APD.

Thinking of switching to K-Factor 95" now.
