Longer handles

Just wondering, why are the grips/handles on an oversize racquet shorter than a midplus version of the same racquet?

just a guess, but its probably to keep the racket the same length and since the actual head is bigger the grip has to be shorter...

its true like my OS triad at 110sq.in. and the handle is like around 2 inches shorter than the mp or well any mp to that fact, but its a good thing im a one hander for FH and BH
