That happened to my breathe free II's, except all the way across.
Go to nikebiz.com and search around the customer service section for returns.
I just took mine back to the store I bought them and got a full refund, but it happened to me within the store's warranty period (45 days or so).

i doubt nike will give you anything because you have had them for more than 6 month warrenty period

Thats what I was thinking, but I thought I saw a post on here about Nike having defect warranty too.
