Pinnacle of motorsport.

I think F1 is alot of fun to watch, but it's not really fair to other drivers, just like Indy Car. You will have the Multi-Billion dollar team, with the top driver in the world, and they will win almost every race. But...NASCAR I think is the closest racing on the planet. You will hardly ever see a guy win by more than 5 seconds over the next guy. Nothing like seeing a pack of 15 cars all with in feet of each other in a turn at Talledega at speeds of 195+

Yea but NASCAR gets old to me. The oval is almost a mechanism to let it be close. I wish there was a true way to test just pure driving ability. NASCAR is still dominated by the better teams also.

NASCAR needs more road courses the races nowadays look to much like beltway traffic :)

Agreed that if it's not close, it's boring. But the last few F1, Indy, even Moto GP Races I've tuned into, one guy is out in front by 10+ seconds, and on road courses, that seems like an eternity. NASCAR is way so much fun to actually go to the track and watch because unlike road circuits, you can watch the ENTIRE track, not just a certain section! My two dream racing vacations are
1. Daytona 500
2. Indy 500
I have actually done the RP driving experience at Daytona...145mph+ on 31degree banked turns is very exciting! I could only imagine doing it like I said earlier, 200mph with guys all around me all within inches of causing "The Big One".
