Pro's 2hbh grips?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone know any righty (or lefty) pro that uses a semi-western on his/her non dominant hand and an eastern on their dominant? I'm looking for some pros who use a similar grip as i do so i can study off their strokes and improve my 2hbh more. Oh and if anyone knows of any pros besides nadal that uses a full western fh, that would be great too. Thanks!

2HBH grips can be hit with style, but mostly depends on predominant HEIGHT of the incoming ball.
For high balls all the time, lots of players choose western dominant and eastern off hand.
For really low balls skidded and sliced, most players choose conti grips to dig out the low skidders from their shins.
You're probably playing somewhere in between, so choose the grip that allows you to hit the most 2HBH solidly given the height of the incoming ball.

I find SW/continental works well for most shots. Havnig the continental grip in the dominant hand also allows me to slice the ball easily, if I choose.

Of course, it really depends not only on the height of the incoming ball, but also WHAT kind of shot you want to hit...top, slice, flat, or a combo of....
Pure topspinners or shorter players playing high bouncing balls usually adopt a western or sw grip.
Tall guys or grasscourt players tend to wander towards conti gripped 2HBH's.
And you guys in between can adopt whatever grip allows you to hit solidly, consistently, with pace and spin, and doesn't kill your endurance thru a 4 hour session.

Yeah I use the same combination, and having the same grip for my dominant hand for any backhand that I hit sure helps make things easy.

I do the same conti/eastern grips..what has helped me way more then the grip though is focusing on dropping the racquet before swinging up to contact. I probably drop it as vertical as nadal and step into the shot. The combo of that and good weight transfer has given me a consistent weapon finally.
