what effect does moisture have on a multi?

i recently played in wet conditions, and a usually comfortable hybrid set up started to be a bit harsh on my arm.

Tightens up the stringbed more thats probably why it felt alittle harsh on your arm

It wasn't the strings... it was you hitting heavy wet tennis balls.

oh right, i thought about that, but thought it may be the strings, as with full poly i dont have this problem, just thought the strings may have soaked up the moisture or something..
