It costs about $90 and is a plain white tennis shirt with a black collar and a bit of black around the seams.
Oh, it's got a very small green crocodile on it as well, I see where you're coming from now!

LaCoste is a fashion franchise. Ask anyone in the retail business. They know how to market and how to control the market. They made some mistakes when they were with Izod, and they mass merchandised the stuff. It is all essentially the same, but it marketing. Go to a High School girls match. Lots of LaCoste shoes, why? Are they high quality, low price, a better shoe? NO to all, its fashion, and they know it.

It's the ultimate tribute to marketing. When you buy a car that costs four times as much as another car, you can be pretty sure you're getting alot more content. But a $90 shirt and one you buy here on clearance for 20-25 seem to be pretty much the same thing, except for the "jerk" stigma of wearing the more expensive one.
Just wait until the collection goes on sale...polos 55 bucks......

I'm happy to see a return to normalcy in the bulk of these comments. Lacoste's clothes are absolutely overpriced and, just as significantly, out of whack with even the most top of the line gear by the other leading brands. The poster who referenced marketing is on the money: you're not buying more or better, you're buying status. But you show up with a $150+ shirt and shorts on my court, you better bring some game along too. And, oh yes, the styles are virtually all snoozers -- I like a few pieces here and there, but there's little stylistic or materials innovation here. Doesn't everybody recall how Roddick wore the same boring-ass white shirt and navy short combo for, like, 3 years!
