Are you still a diehard of classics?

I have switched to playing with a Babolat Pure Storm for almost 2 weeks. Even though the control is not as good as my classics (PC600, PS85, etc), the Pure Storm is so much easier to hit. My serve and serve-return have improved significantly because of a bigger sweet spot and increase in power. Have anyone switched?

I have 2 MG Prestige and 2 Flexpoint Prestige. The feel and playability of these frames are less superior to the classic Head rackets that I own. They have totally different feel and I prefer the playability of the classics much more.

Have you tried the Youtek Prestiges? I heard that they are very similar to the classics in terms of feel.

I have generally found the "moderns" to have overall less feel and control than my favorite "classics." They seem to replace these two (important to me) attributes with that of inherent power.

With a "classic" in hand, when I want more power, I just swing out. However, when I am playing with a "modern," and I want to hit a feathery drop shot, or to hit something like a flat down-the-line backhand passing shot, it's not quite as easy.

The most modern stick I play is my PS 4.2si. I try other people's modern sticks all the time and can't stand the lack of control, feel and built in power. The only time I like them is if I'm trying to uncork a big serve.

I have tried the Youtek Prestige, It was strung with full poly's that I didn't like. So I didn't play with it for very long I didn't want to get arm problems again.

Tennis elbow is no fun. The Babolat Pure Storm, surprisingly, does not give me any arm problem (keep my fingers crossed).

My friend switched from a K90, to the classic Wilson Sting Midsize racquets. These racquets are thin beamed, super flexible, 85 inch headsize, and superior feel. He has 3 of them (Sting Mid, Sting 2 Mid, Sting SC Mid), and uses them along with a PS85.

I used to play with the Stings. They are quite similar to the PS85 in terms of control and feel. Stings are very affordable.
