Meaning, I don't think this topic has been posted previously ... although, given the far range of topics discussed here, I could be wrong ... anyway, when we all graduated from high school there were certain jobs or professions that we thought we would end up in ... for most of us, this didn't quite work out as planned ... my question: what did you want to be when you graduated from HS ... and ... what job or profession did you eventually end up in?

I'll start off: I wanted to be a broadcast journalist or a magazine writer ... my profession today ... a grant writer and program planner.

This should be interesting!

I never had an ambition in life. Nowadays i run out infront of cars and get injured. This way i take the drivers to court and make a lot of money.

I wanted to be a journalist/writer/professional musician (Still want too!) - I turned out to be an excelent Sales Engineer! (I am Mechanical Engineer actually).

When I graduated from high school, I tried to get into "Standford". Originally wanted to be a physician.

"Destiny" took a hand and I ended up a "medical professional".

... the university was probably disappointed in how you spelled its name ... you're probably better off today (i.e. happier and more content) not being a physician ...

You have two jobs? a grant writer is very different from a program planner.

Hey, Tina ... no, I couldn't handle two jobs (... takes away from one's tennis time) ... I do a little bit of both ... are you a college instructor ... what areas do you teach ...
