Love my BigShots! They're light and fast. I've only worn them for a few hours on the court but they feel great. Better than my old Barricade 5.0s.

Cannot speak to the Asics but have really liked my Big Shots. Pretty light and manuverable without sacrificing stablity. I required no break-in time. I will say that they are not super-durable (honestly not a concern of mine--I will say they are more durable than any Nike I have ever worn but that's not saying much) but as much as I play on hard courts, I am hard on every shoe. Good luck.
