New Racket Suggestions??

I'm looking to switch to a new racket because I feel like my game lacks a bit of power and I need to switch to a more power oriented racket. I'm 15 and I'm currently using a Babolat Pure Storm Tour... it's really control-oriented and heavy, thus giving me less power and spin. I'm looking to switch to a little lighter and more powerful racket... I would prefer to stay with Babolat, but any suggestions for any brand would be appreciated.

Well the obvious suggestion would be the Pure Drive GT. It has alot more power but will feel different. Demo both the Pure Drive (non roddick version) and the Aero Pro Drive GT. Both are more powerfull than the Pure Storm Tour.

Also, I forgot to add, the PD ia alot less arm-friendly compared to the Pure Storm due to its stiffness...

+1. I agree on both statements. I used the AeroPro Drive GT for over a year. It served me well, but I eventually switched to a more arm-friendly racquet. Compared to the Pure Storm, both the PD and APDGT will be more powerful and more forgiving on off-center hits.

The Volkl PB8/Boris Becker DC Pro are both supposed to be 'Pure Drive clones' and are worth a look, especially since they can be had for under $80.

Other possibilities are the Dunlop 500 line (AeroGel 4D/Biomimetic) and if you can get past the square head, the Yonex VCore 100 S.

If you are looking for a combination of Power and Control, try the Head IG Radical Pro and BLX Blade. Your power will develop naturally as you mature.

Might try the New Head IG Radical Pro. The Radical MP is just a control racquet ( you had get power by leading it up), but the Pro has some pop to it without being a stiff, tweener racquet.

Try anything from Prince.

Port holes offer faster swinging and bigger sweetspot.

Start with the Exo3 Black. If you think it's too powerful, move to the new Rebels (preferably 98). If you think it lacks power, go to the exo3 tours (preferably 16x18).

Hope it helps!

I have 2 Wilson Pro Open's (8 and 9/10) and a PDGT (8.5/10) with 4 1/2 grips, I'll let go of for cheap as they are just sitting in my closet. Are you interested?

How much, I'm looking for a pre-owned Babolat under 100 (preferably around 60-70)? I'm still deciding on whether to get an Aero Storm, APDGT, or PD though. I want more control but Aero Storm does not have as much power as APDGT and PD.
