Technifibre tfight 320 a good racquet?

Hello

Is this racquet any good? People here say it's underrated and that it's a hidden gem. Currently play with a 6.1 95 blx (18x20).

Can't demo it. Powerplayer wrote that it was like a lighter 6.1 95 but with a little more power due to the more open string pattern. Is that true?

I have only hit with BLX95 very briefly a while ago, from memory, the VO2 max is less plough, slightly less stable, but a lot more spin, power depends on your technique/level but most would find vO2 to be more powerful, and more arm friendly. it's a good stick

Thanks for the reply. I'll order it. It's for sale and the spec is just right so I'll have it as a back up racquet. Anybody else that have played both racquet or just the 320?

Wait, you have the 18x20 blx95 and wanting to use the 320(16x19) for a backup? If I were you I'd go for the 325(18x19) seems more reasonable than an open pattern. Well that is if you want something similar to the 18x20

Wide open string pattern, power, larger sweetspot and access to spin in a stiffer 95 racquet is all you really need to know in addition to the spec.

The rest is up to you.

The paint job is beautiful and it has silicone in the handle.

The review on Stringer's World basically just says that it gets insane amounts of spin and that it has a large sweetspot.

I bought a 320 on a whim and have been very pleasantly surprised. The 16 x 19 pattern is open to begin with, but when strung you will look at it and it seems much much more open. I've had a great time getting used to the 95 head size and can recommend it, especially if you get it for a decent sale price.

put a thick luxilon in main for good durability and control cause this racquet is a eat stringer and need a good control-oriented poly like bb original or timo 1.22 and put a kirschbaum pro line 11 1.20 0r 1.25 on the crosses! that's a very high quality combo, everything is there! (control, power, spin and feel) p.s sorry for my bad english!:???:

I think you're looking at the wrong video. You need to find their video of the 2012 racqet. The two guys there really know what they're talking about when it comes to racquets and tennis. Not single whiff of marketing BS at all. In fact, I think their video reviews this year are the most credible out of ANY I've seen from anyone on the internet.

I'm probably going to be picking one up to demo, but from what I understand its a players frame, but slightly more accessible than the 6.1

I play with TFight 295. It's good racquet. Great balance of power, spin and control, but i don't like feel. It's very crisp, a bit mettalic like.

I have been using the 320 for a few months and it is an excellent racquet that is very easy to swing, and stable. If you have a loose and fluid swing it repays you with depth and incredible spin. I have found that it is very powerful compared to other rackets I have used. In my case I play best with BHBR16 @58. It is the mst comfortable of the poly I have tried and it pairs with this racquet very well.
As a side note, it is a heavier much more stable 295. BHBR17 best paired with this one.
Hope this helps.

I have a BLX 6.1.95 (18x20) and T Fight 320 (18x20) both stock form no added weight.

From my own experience I found that the 320 is more control, it does swing faster through the air, spin I couldn't really say I generated more spin to be honest. So it's a no increased spin potential power it has a lot of.

Reason why I kept this racket and the oddddd ocassion try it out is because it has good control, power and feel.

Comparing to the BLX I think T Fight has more a better feeling to it but the BLX seemed to be more of an all rounded racket, good control, spin, power and feel.

Serve the BLX seemed better but volleying the T Fight without a doubt.
Groundstrokes I will say slightly towards the T Fight but only marginally.

Are the older 18x20s, the same racquet as the newer 16x19s apart from the string pattern? Or did they tweak the frame?

No they're not the same as the old 320s. The VO2 Max versions have the stiffer graphite like many newer racquets. You can feel the stiffness compared to the older versions. I believe the older ones were a 320 and a 335, both available with either 16x20, or 18x20.

I have both the newer 320 and 325. Personally I think the 325 is closer to the Wilson 6.1 95, esp the 18x20. I tried out a lot of my sticks today as I'm back in to the short summer clay season in Canada, and am not sure if I'll stick to my 400T.

For what it's worth, It's a toss up between the 325 and the 400T for my summer clay court season. I'll play a few matches and see.

At the Miami Open I picked up several 95in headsize racquets to compare i.e., the Tec 320, Tec 325, BLX 6.1 95 (18x20) and the Yonex 95d.

Regarding your question comparing the BLX 6.1 95 (18x20) and the Tec 320: IMO... Power: The BLX has more plow or projection of force into the court, Spin: The Tec 320 has a little more spin, Feel: The Tec 320 allows you to feel more connected to the impact of the ball (more feel) but the BLX has a more buttery feel and more consistent string bed, Sweet spot: The BLX may offer a slightly bigger sweet spot but Tec holds its own in this department.

In general, I think the Tec 320 has a better feel for drop shot etc., it swings easier and faster... and it also is the best looking racquet than the BLX.

The main negative with the Tec 320 (and this is very very minor) is that the racquet has a noticeable drop off of power at the top of the string bed (which mostly affected the extended ground strokes not the serves).

The main negative with the BLX 95 was that it had slightly thick feeling (in the throat) when executing fast reaction shots (I tend to prefer a slightly more polarized racquet in general).

For me, I have to say that at this point in the comparison that the BLX 6.1 95 (18x20) is a better fit for my game (4.5) as i am better able to handle a heavy hitter, or a hard server, and in a fast moving game situation the BLX just seems to be more effective... That being said the Tec 320 is a great stick.
