Heavier version of PS 100 on the way?

Just noticed that TW's listing for the BLX Pro Staff 6.1 100 says BLX ProStaff 100L. I don't remember seeing L in the listing before. On the GB Wilson site it's also listed as the 100L, and the pic there has "one hundred" rather than "Six.One 100" written on the neck of the frame and "100L" rather than "100" on the shaft just above the grip. If L stands for Lite, maybe there's a 100Heavy on the way or in the works. Anyone heard anything?

Wilson is re-branding the current 100 as the 100L; I heard it from an insider, that you are not cool enough to know, then at the end of the year Wilson will re-release it again as the 100 LS with the extreme open 16x15 pattern. Wilson will then release it for a final time with more power or drive. The final name will be the 100LSD.

Maybe the "L" means for Ladies? Because the specs of the PS100 have "For Ladies Only" written all over it. :)

You're correct! SFrazeur's source tells me they are bringing back the his and hers tradition last seen in the Advantage woodies.
Actually, didn't Wilson come out with some women's versions of a graphite racquet just a couple of years ago? They were the same racquets but were painted pink or purple instead of the standard black.

Well, L may as well stand for ladies. The Britain site also now has a new Blade 101L, described as "the lightest and most maneuverable Blade is also the most powerful" 290 grams strung.
