May need to watch ESPN tomorrow for that E:60 WWE special at 8.

ESPN is really opening up with the wrestling stuff. I think back in the Day they showed the Global Wrestling Federation sometimes. Those were not that bad with Raven and Cactus Jack

Between Beadle and Simmons they must be getting some good feedback.

Speaking of ESPN, Michelle Beadle is no longer a fan. Not one f was given by me, but in case somebody is interested. Here is the article.

I am a fan. A fan of sports. A fan of television, good and bad. A fan of 80’s music. Of the Spurs. Of cheesy movies. Of John Oliver. I’ve been a fan of great people and some I shouldn’t have revered at all, those who’ve had their share of transgressions in life. And as of a couple days ago, I was a fan of the WWE. My fandom dates back about 18 years, off and on. I loved the drama. I loved the characters. The over-the-top bravado exhibited by men as they flipped thru the air in an athletic well-choreographed dance. It was pure entertainment, from which I got great joy. Through the years, WWE has been great to me, hooking me up with amazing seats, and giving me access that most fans would love to have. And for that, I’m thankful. I’ve had Superstars on my shows, and willingly plugged numerous campaigns and events for the company. I’ve publicly gone to bat for them as, shockingly, wrestling fans tend to be on the receiving end of some ridicule. I did all of it because I was a fan. But this past weekend has been one that I will remember for a long time to come. We’ll get back to the wrestling in a minute. I promise.

The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight brought out the best and worst in people. The criminally abusive past that Floyd Mayweather carries served as a dividing line for the nation. On the one side you had the apologists. The men and women who are willing to separate the boxer from the horrendous acts for which he’s been convicted, and cheer him on. On the other side you had those who would not make that jump, and would keep the national discussion of domestic violence issues front and center. And in the middle, you had a large group that just didn’t know. I was once in that last group. Last summer, while hosting the ESPYs Red Carpet, I made the mistake of saying to Mayweather, ‘I like the way you live your life.’ Many people on Twitter called me out, and they were right. I did the research. I learned of the accusations. The convictions. The abuse committed in front of his own children. And the way the judicial system made a mockery of those women, putting the Las Vegas Money Tree ahead of doing the right thing. I immediately apologized and vowed I’d never support that man and his lifestyle. How could I? A man who views women as possessions, things to be controlled. I have to believe that my outspoken stance had something to do with my credential being pulled for the fight. Either that, or the world’s most uncanny coincidence occurred resulting in pulled credentials for at least 3 other members of the media (who also happened to speak out about DV.) The timing was interesting. First I was credentialed. Then I wasn’t. People have tried to dismiss the entire ordeal as a misunderstanding, but emails from network executives say otherwise. It turns out my access was reinstated late Friday night, but to no one’s knowledge. And by then, it was too late. After a week of various national figures bloviating about the greatness of Mayweather, from his prowess in the ring, to his life packed with cars, cash and opulence, I’d had enough. Those that pulled my credential were actually doing me a favor. I was given a pass to leave an event that already had me feeling uneasy and uncomfortable in my career choice. ‘You’re just mad you couldn’t go to the fight’ some have said. I had a ticket; I gave it up. ’So why go at all,’ I’ve been asked. 'You should have not even gone to Vegas,’ has been thrown around a few times. I’ll tell you why I went. I went because it’s my job. That’s the obvious reason. But more importantly, I went because I have a voice. You may not like my voice. You may find me grating and annoying, and in need of a timeout several times a week. But my voice is all I have. I’m sure I could have gotten a pass on Las Vegas Fight Week coverage. But what does that do? How does that help? Would it have been a much more peaceful weekend for me? Probably. Maybe you think this is for attention. But you’d be wrong. My employers, ESPN and HBO have not once asked me to ‘keep quiet.’ I feel strongly about holding people accountable for their actions. I don’t want to ‘get over it,’ or ‘let it go.’ And yes, I’m aware that there are bad people across all sports that may not get the same coverage. But I’ve seen so many changes in not just what’s being reported, but in the reactions from the public. People are fed up. A lot, not all, but a lot of fans are tired of rooting for horrible human beings, who are allowed to continue to be horrible, so long as they’re winning. My voice is what I have, and I will continue to use it as best I can.

Which brings me back to the WWE. I’m a fan of Triple H. As a wrestler, he was a big part of many of my memories, even as recently as this year's Wrestlemania. As an Executive Vice President, he's successfully led the charge in building the WWE's farm system, NXT. WWE proudly lends its name and backing to Susan G. Komen, Make-A-Wish, and Boys and Girls Clubs, to name a few. They’ve been deeply involved in building an Anti-Bullying campaign, Be A Star. And just last year, Stephanie McMahon strengthened the company’s domestic violence policies: “We have a zero tolerance policy for domestic abuse. Upon arrest for such misconduct, our superstars are immediately suspended and should there be a conviction, that superstar or diva would be terminated.” That's from the Wellness Policy that applies to all WWE talent. Imagine my confusion when, during the maelstrom of the weekend, I noticed a few tweets that may have, at any other time, gone unnoticed. Tweets that caused me to question my support of the WWE and the man who sits near the top of the company's food chain. "So why now," some have wondered. Because sometimes it takes a little longer to see the light. Triple H has continued to display his relationship with Floyd Mayweather through social media, the most recent being a hearty congratulations to the boxer following his victory Saturday night. It's not my place to say what one should and should not do on Twitter, especially during personal time. However the era in which we're living is rapidly changing. And the lines between one's corporate and private personas have blurred. Triple H has over two million followers. He’s one of the faces of a company that depends on a healthy public image. I realize he doesn’t speak for everyone, but does he realize that when he shows support to a convicted batterer, friend or not, it can effectively damage so much goodwill that the company is admittedly doing? It’s hard to sell a message of anti-bullying while slapping the ultimate bully on the back. I was a fan. A big fan. But it’s time to use my voice.

I understand that point of view. But if you start looking into poeples personal lives it makes just about anything hard to enjoy.

Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle all have issues. Willie Mays distributed amphetimens to teammates.

I ignore the off the field stuff as much as possible and try to just look at the product between the lines.

Steve Austin? Debra? no? Is it just the domestic violence? what about the steroids, Chris Benoit, Owen Hart?

Maybe all of these things occured during her "off" periods as a fan.

I'm glad my boy Ambrose is in the 'Payback' main event. He wont win, but he will add something to this storyline. We have the former Shield, plus Orton. I wonder if a time comes in the match when they do a 3 on 1 move, not reforming the Shield or anything, just for a bit of fan service. :)

I think it would be great if Orton, Reigns and Ambrose get together and do the old Shield triple powerbomb on Rollins.

Watched the E60 last night.

It pretty much all about developmental. Followed Cory Graves, Xavier Woods, and Adam Rose before he was Adam Rose and was Leo Kruger. Showed behind the scenes like stuff with Hunter and those guys deciding things.

All in All not that bad of an hour. I think it may help Woods and Rose gain a little momentum. Although I think Adam Rose is a dumb character, and this new day thing confuses me where they are going with it.

How unfortunate.

NXT star Hideo Itami is out of action with a bad shoulder injury, according to a report at PWInsider.com. He’s expected to be out of action for the remainder of 2015. Itami was scheduled to compete in a 3-way bout against Tyler Breeze and Finn Balor at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable at May 20th. Earlier this week, fellow NXT star Sami Zayn suffered a shoulder injury on RAW. Alex Riley is also undergoing knee surgery today.

Apparently on Main Event this weekend. Sandown/Mizdow came down as Macho Mandow to wrestle AxelMania.

Mandow was set to drop the elbow but ascension came in and interfered and hit the finisher.

So I guess its mega powers vs LOD :)

Since Rey Mysterious became fat and old, I stopped watching WWE. The Undertaker was the last great entertainer of WWE. The new Superstars don't interest me at all.

The Owens things wasnt that bad. Hes pretty good on the Mic.

Owens, Zayn, Neville, and Balor will be in this for a long time having good matched with each other.

Add in Rollins and Ambrose and a healthy D Bryan and you will have some good in ring action.

They say that entrance is pretty sweet live.

And WWE has trademarked Balor Club. So expect something soon with this guy and probably a face character to sell merch.

Hopefully they have some stupid soundling convulted nickname for him like "the man that gravity forgot" or "the tank with the ferrari engine"

I cant believe people in creative agree and sign off on some of this stupid stuff.

The man that gravity forgot is pretty cool. Cheesy but cool. I didn't like Neville in nXt but he's won me over.

A healthy Dbry may never happen at this point. He'll never be champ again.

I love how WWE is integrating nXt on main roster now. I'm sure HHH has a lot to do with it. Hopefully the writing team stops messing guys up and keeps them strong on the main roster. And the women of nXt are leaps and bounds better than the "Divas"on the main roster. Charlotte, Sasha, Becky, and Bayley are the future.

Man that Gravity forgot isn't so bad. That wasn't created by the WWE brain trust.

Tank with Ferrari engine, no excuse for that one. :D

I want to get Taker's new book though Kevin Sullivan has wrote it????

The Kevin Sullivan? Surely not?

No, mate, this is a different Kevin Sullivan. I know he has done other books because I have the WWE Encyclopedia. He is Co-Author on that.

I agree that WWE has been pretty good lately. I don't want to get too excited, but recent Raw's haven't felt like a total waste of time. I enjoyed Payback.

I thought Kevin Sullivan was hoadring stuff in Washington and selling it to Mick Dodge on TV.

He is a pretty smart guy though. He didnt even try to bury Benoit when Benoit stole his wife from him.

Thanks PS, I'll be getting that Taker book when it comes out!

Whilst the WWE is getting better also with the awesome NXT some sad news.

It seems the TNA ship is sinking, for good this time. I know TNA get's stick, deservedly sometimes but it's sad to see a promotion go under...I'm guess Jeff Jarrett at Global Force Wrestling is licking his lips, HHH said he wouldn't be interested in signing TNA talent some weeks back.

I did enjoy TNA back in the day, it kind of imploded with Hogan and Bischoff joined in 2010.

Hmm I'll have to watch tomorrow. Never been into Becky but love Sasha.

Had so much psychology to it, technically there were a 1-2 mini botches but it was submission wrestling at it's finest, both were pretty much trying to rip the others arm off, it was brutal and superb.

Yeah Sasha's moves look brutal. The last time she wrestled Charlotte it was incredible.

Bobby Heenan :( I didn't even recognize him.

Man oh man, I can't believe that's Bobby. I read up about that he's had a lot of surgery on his jaw and his throat due to his throat cancer. He's an inspiration, a fighter and a gent too.

I only just caught up with Payback 2015, and the main event was awesome! The only thing I didn't like was Seth's finisher, mainly because his execution of the pedigree looked awkward. But..... what do you guys think about that being his new finisher — in the image of his maker? Not sold.

I don't mind it. Early tease of the inevitable Seth vs Triple H showdown. Seth can finish off Hunter for good with a top rope pedigree.

Yeah, it does have an angle.

The problem with his finisher is it isn't much of a finisher for an "opportunist" like Seth. It needs preparation and a groggy opponent. It can't just come out of nowhere and look smart and cunning, which is what we expect from Mr.Rollins.

I Know what you mean.

I see them having one of their lovey dovey sessions in the ring, then Seth goes overboard. Seth claims that he does the pedigree better than Hunter. He laughs, he is only making a joke, but....

I'm looking forward to Elimination Chamber. I'm glad this has been brought back as a notwork exclusive. I've paid for worse cards.

I'm most interested in John Cena vs Kevin Owens. I'd have Owens win, make him seem like something more than just the next NXT guy. Give him the win.

Rollins vs Ambrose should be great. No doubt there will be lots of outside interference resulting in Rollins retaining. I'm sure the point will come when Hunter sends Seth out alone, but not yet. I tihnk Rollins is still champion until Summerslam, and maybe longer than that.

Ambrose seems to be getting hotter once again. I'd have him win money in the bank, providing he is not wrestling Roillins again at the event.

As Dave Meltzer likes to say ''this is still the era of nobody getting over'' Sure, you can break that down and give examples of some getting over. He is spot on. 50-50 booking ftw. lol

Doesn't mean I'm down on everything. I'm still looking forward to Elimination Chamber. I just keep expectations in check.

Brock Lesnar return date set. People are speculating that Brock could answer the Cena open challenge. Then they go too far and say let him kill Cena. I don't see Brock answering the open challenge.

The official Twitter account of the Bankers Life Fieldhouse announced Thursday morning on Twitter that Brock Lesnar will appear at the venue when Raw takes place in Indianapolis on June 22, 2015.

Brock will be doing his first house show in years over in Japan. Makes sense. His opponent is set to be Kofi Kingston. I'm not kidding. New Day certainly are getting over, that can be one of the examples.
On the F4WOnline.com message board, Dave Meltzer said Lesnar is working the event because he planned to visit Masa Saito, a retired Japanese wrestler, with friend Brad Rheingans (a former wrestler from Minnesota who competed for the American Wrestling Association, New Japan Pro Wrestling and briefly WWE in 1986 as an enhancement talent).
.
I think we are all expecting Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. I have my own scenario planned out. Dean Ambrose interferes in the match, this costs Brock Lesnar. He doesn't make it a three way, though, like Wrestlemania. Oh yeah, he will be money in the bank holder at this time. He costs Lesnar, so he can turn heel. Maybe join the authority. That sounds pretty awful.

It would just be like WWE to do something like this. Ambrose is a great heel, but he is a loved anti hero/face as well. Hmm, it does remind me of somebody, but I wont go that far.

According to Hollywood Life, Stephen Amell of “Arrow” fame will be competing in a match at this year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.

HollywoodLife.com is reporting that Amell will be going one-on-one with WWE Superstar Stardust (Cody Rhodes) at the event, which takes place on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The story claims Amell and WWE are debating whether to refer to him as simply Stephen Amell, or if he should play his character from “Arrow” in the match.

Not sure what to think of this. (if true) I guess it could be alright.

Stardust becomes a villain of the week on season four of Arrow.
