Thanks for the ML100 vs ML140 comparison document. Looks like there's a typo that ought to be fixed for clarity. The omission of the word "not" in the ML100 sentence addressing calibration. Doc says: - The stringer has to check the calibration on the MS140 and adjust it if necessary. The...

Yes, this is an automatic tweak I do like you do with stretchy string. Either that or pull once, let the head drop, lift the weight to release the head while hand-pulling firm to get more of the string under the jaws. Just takes a couple of seconds and becomes a reflex routine. Totally...

In case anyone is wondering, a Gamma RZR Bubba 137 sq/in racket fits on a ML100. The mounting pillars occupy the near maximum distance, maybe 3-4mm to spare on each end. Apparently, this racquet is the largest legal size. https://twitter.com/bashley

I agree. I actually prefer the separate ruler. It's dead simple, accurate, reliable, versatile for lots of different situations, and I'll bet way less an expense pressure on the cost to produce and sell the machine. I also have an older Klippermate, besides my ML100, and the tension markers on...

Yeah, Yanter, you may be imagining doing 30-40 bicep curls, all with one arm. I've done a few hundred racquets, badminton and tennis with the ML100 (fixed), and some with stretchy gut or syngut. The first few mains, yeah, very occasionally may require a couple of lifts, but after that...

Anyone have a string pattern for the Prince Tricomp 90?

Thanks Andl. Lengths especially helpful. Tension as printed on the racquet decal slightly different. My says 50-65.

Anyone have a string pattern for the Prince Tricomp 90?

No prob, an honest slip. Doing it as a 2-pce wouldn't be problem, but I think I'll stick with 1-pce as delivered. Coincidentally just received my new Prince stencil, too, so the racquet oughta look cosmetically dressed up when done, full make-up. Not bad for a $2, Salvation Army Thrift Store find.

Hey Lloyd, one of these Tricomp 90s is coming to me for new strings. Would you mind sharing here what you "worked out"? Thanks!

It's kind of a quirky habit for me to review the performance and my satisfaction with products over a period of time--lawnmower, snowblower, bicycle, stringing machine. It triggers questions like, Did I make the right choice? Do I still like the design? Do I think it will last? Has it been...

A year ago I bought a Stringway ML100, fixed clamps, tennis/badminton, cross stringing gadgets etc. I'm really happy with the purchase, so I wrote to Fred to let him know. Figured I ought to post it here too. Not mentioned in the review, but oh, so important, has been Fred's own attentive...
