Hang them outside instead of placing them in the dryer. If it still doesn't work take a few minutes and just handwash them.
I don't think your washing machine's cleaning your clothes very well. I handwash all of my tennis clothes and I never really had a problem.
Lotto, Fila and Diadora here are a dime a dozen. They're good but I think it's more of brand recognition. The three hasn't signed up big time athletes to sport their brands.
I miss the old Fila. I wish they would create a classier vintage line instead of trying to design trendy clothes. They're...
I use Hanes and Fruit of the Loom boxers, the pure cotton one. Better for it to be soaked with sweat rather than the sweat getting trapped under a layer of polyester.
I never encountered the same problem with the more recent branded tennis apparels. This was a prevalent problem during the late 90's and early 2000's but I think companies like Nike and Adidas have solved the problem already.
I have the feeling you're using those thick polyester apparel from...
The X-Crew looks really nice. Haven't bought Nike Tennis stuff in ages since design was pretty bad in recent months. Will get the X-Crew next week. It looks so light and loose. I probably won't use it for tennis though I'll just use it for jogging.
The old ones were softer, more low cut and had more cushioning. The new ones are as heavy as tanks like basketball shoes.
I miss the early 2000's ASICS. They were soft and comfortable not to mention durable,
When I was in high school I used to buy everything Adidas simply because it was cheaper. There used to be an outlet store here where you can get Barricades for $50 and tennis polos for $15. I remember buying several Porsche Design apparels and shoes as well.
After a few years when my pockets...
I just bought 12 T-Gildan shirts (of varying colors) for just $20. Also a Gildan hoodie for $7. That should more or less cover my tennis wardrobe for the rest of the year.
The quality's a lot worse right now compared to the earlier Federer Nadal lines. So no it's not worth $70. Just buy yourself two $20 drifit shirts, a dozel bagels and some apple juice.
Nadal's loss was worse. The win was virtually uncontested. You can argue that he's not a grass specialist, but a two time Wimbledon and eight time French Open champion should have at least gave a 135th spot player a good fight.
