    Yonex RDS 002 Tour

I would like some better stock grips, the ones that come on the racquet are the thickness of an overgrip and have no durability. What have other users replaced the stock grips with? I need to on mine but want to not get crazy heavy with leather. I replaced it once with a wilson leather and...

    ****Yonex Thread****

Why are Yonex raquets so beautifully made, designed, and painted, but the stock grips are the absolute worst to ever grace any tennis raquet? They are as thin as an overgrip and wear out very fast even with an overgrip on top. I bought a yonex rds 002 tour and absolutely love everything about...

Anyone else find Tournagrip II too tacky?

I am not a big fan of tournagrip 2 for the same reason mentioned above, it is so tacky that I can not quickly adjust my grip for various shots. Plus it is miserabley hard on top of leather! Supergrap is a far superor product. -CtC

    Its official: New Adidas Racquets!

At least the weight on the tour barricade looks interesting. Not wild about the closed string pattern, but a 305 mm balance with a 20mm beam, of it it had those specs it would be worth a playtest. -CtC

How can you tell if a K-90 is real or fake?

Well if Wilson gets the mold it is a safe bet you will never see two racquets thta are anywhere near matching in specifications. Wilson quality control is the absolute worst.

    K Six One Tour

The thin beam and the the 90 square inch head really makes the k90 knife through the air. I think it hits about like every other 90 in the 6.1 family, but the 6.0 85 cuts through the air even better. In my opinion there has never been a finer series of tennis raquet than the tour 90s. -CtC

Yonex RDS 001 Mid 2008 + Yonex RDS 002 Tour

Mawashi, Like you said I think lack of depth is the biggest issue I have in doubles. It seems I block too many back out wide, which would be great if were not so weakly struck. I do frame a few, but hard serves are hard to return regardless of head size. Honestly is not a huge deal, I still...

How can you tell if a K-90 is real or fake?

That is kind of funny as I have hard of differences in over 15 grams between tour 90s from two of the guys I hit with that ordered three at one clip. I think Wilson is making alot of fake tour 90s. :) On the bright side mine are within three grams of one another. -CtC

    Pros who use leather grip

Yeah it will do that to you ^^^ but you will build up some calluses in a couple of weeks and the feel of the leather will be out of this world. -CtC

Yonex RDS 001 Mid 2008 + Yonex RDS 002 Tour

Honestly the k 6.1 tour 90 is not all that bad in doubles. I think it volleys exceptionally well and reaction time is great for when I need to quickly block a shot back. I have just been struggling with return of serve as of recent. As much as I practice I don't think I hit my best return of...

What's the best bag for a competetive junior player (playing 4-5 times a week)

I have never owned a Head bag, but every one of the orange ones the guys in my league own look filthy and have holes in them. I don't think the wilsons show the dirt and wear as quickly--- assuming you don't buy the federer bag- that thing would probably be filthy dirty in a week. :) -CtC

Yonex RDS 001 Mid 2008 + Yonex RDS 002 Tour

Mawashi, I think I have a demo date with both racquets and will probably include the Dunlop in there as well. I got a chance to hit the AG100, and thought it was a bit flimsy and had a difficult time controling the depth of my shot. Things just seemed to fly on me. I read a few of the posts...

Yonex RDS 001 Mid 2008 + Yonex RDS 002 Tour

I have hit both kblades, I think the tour is a solid server and volleys well. Could not get in the groove with ground strokes though, top spin was a struggle to generate and pace was ok. The 98 was better at ground strokes but I found it to be one of the worst serving raquets I have ever hit...

    Best damperner

The Sampras O is nice but it is still a bit pingy in terms of the sound the strings make. I have this same problem with the Wilson Smiley. As stupid as it is to say, my favorite wilson dampener is the SpongeBob, it has great noise reduction. The babolat custom damp with or without the center...
