    RF97 Auto: First impressions

Thanks rh310, The true grip size is the one thing I wanted to find out from others that have used this frame. Looks like a 4 1/4 for me then The BLX Six One Tour also felt big for a 4 3/8 compared to what I'm used to in a 4 3/8,. Cheers, Ben

A Sign of the Apocalypse? BHBH and the APD

BHBH, If you can get your hands on the original APD, the non cortex version, I think you will be even more pleasantly surprised. I have tried every incarnation of the APD, available to the general public and the first version has more feel than other versions. The frame itself is slightly more...

Aero Pro Drive Non-Cortex vs. Newer Generations

Could you kindly point me in the right direction for the review Bartelby? I have Googled for quite a while and can not find any review. I'm not sure what keywords I should be using. non cortex, original, 1st generation?

Aero Pro Drive Non-Cortex vs. Newer Generations

I'd love to know any ones thoughts on this as well as I just took possession of a 1st generation APD. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet. It doesn't say anywhere on the frame what stiffness it is. I have only heard that isn't as stiff as the newer models. But then I also read that Nadals...

    Surely stenciling must effect topspin

sort of like an elastic band effect. The built up energy of the stretched string, that helps generate topspin, is lost due to the stenciling dramatically slowing down the built up energy.

    Surely stenciling must effect topspin

I noticed, that if I pull the strings down on stenciled strings (imitating the direction of string movement enforced by topspin), the strings would stay in that position. It wouldn't settle back to it's natural position. When I removed all the stencil from the strings and pulled down the...

    Surely stenciling must effect topspin

I have thought long and hard about this. When fresh stenciling is applied to the strings surely it must effect topspin potential. Physics doesn't lie. Fresh stenciling doesn't allow the strings to snap back into position smoothly, (if at all), but rather the strings stick to each other...

Hi Realplayer, Could you please tell me where I can find the contact phone number. For the life of me I can not find it on the Angell website, even though it states you can make an order by phone. Cheers.

    P. Angell TC95

I would just like to clarify my comments. My issue was not with the quality of the Angell racquets. In my mind Angell racquets are better than Babolat, Wilson, Head or any other big name brand. My issue was that I paid all this money. Then emailed asking for advise to a few issues I had...

I take your point Meaghan. But if I pay somebody over $700AU for customized racquets that is what I expect. What's the point in having someone customize it if I have to do it myself. When somebody stuffs up, the least they can do is reply to my emails to help me fix it, because I'm not...
