Hi,
I usually use a hybrid set up of BK 1.18 and GW 1.22 strung between 44lbs to 47 lbs. I had them in my Technifibre TF 40 18x20 and T-Fight 305 ISO. I had similar experiences for both.
Power
There was a decent amount of power but nothing uncontrollable. It had more power than my preferred BK...
I am currently using both V7 and V8. My string set ups, in no particular order:
1. Head Lynx Tour 17 Mains with Head Hawk 18 Crosses at 48lbs (main setup for a while)
2. Head Hawk Power 17 at 52lbs (playtested for a while)
3. Technifibre Razorsoft 18 at 50 lbs (current playtest setup)

I like Head Lynx Tour 1.25 at 52 lbs in the mains and Head Hawk 1.20 at 52 lbs in the crosses in my Wilson Blade V8 18x20.
I was doing full Head Lynx Tour before but wanted to get some extra pop with the Head Hawk.
And this is the Indian Wells 2019 Thiem setup but with thinner gauges and lower...
I didn't try the hybrid in the title but I tried the Dominic Thiem hybrid for 2019 but with thinner gauges: Lynx Tour 17 in the mains and Head Hawk 18 in the crosses. I was liking Head Lynx Tour as a full bed a lot in my Wilson Blade V8 18x20 but I wanted to try a poly poly hybrid in my Blades...
1. Yonex Poly Tour Spin - I get a lot of spin and control with these strings. My go to string. Playability for me lasts a while.
2. Poly Tour Pro - Best all around string. Jack of all trades. For me at least, keeps tension well and playability lasts a while too.
3. Poly Tour Drive - Reminds me...

I sometimes miss my Babolat Pure Storm LTD GT.
Despite the sweet spot being so small and the racquet being so underpowered, I really did enjoy hitting with it.
Although I play better with my current (Yonex DR98+), I do miss just rallying with the PSLTDGT.
I have always gotten that "hold your head up" comment on my serve for a long time. It is something I always struggled to fix.
But since Talk Tennis told me to, I will definitely work on it.
Thanks TennisDawg!
Yes I am Waffles haha.
Thanks for the comments. Now to go binge watch every tennis video of Feliciano Lopez on Youtube.
I am getting back into tennis again and I know I have a long way to go.
Once again, thanks for all the comments everyone. Feel free to criticize me even more.
4.0 lefty here. Picture The Vitamin L but just not as good overall.
Anyways, probably going to invite a group of friends from the bay area to partake in this event of epic proportions.
Yay tennis.
