Gotta mention... A Japanese "large," or any size for that matter, is far smaller than a U.S. equivalent. Think 1.5 - 2 sizes smaller.

I have to second that. It annoys the s**t out of me. Plenty of people play fine without grunting. And this goes to the men's side as well. Wish they'd all shut the hell up already.

Did you stop off at the Beverly Hills or Santa Monica store? The latter has NO tennis stuff... while the former has very little. The store manager said most of Nike's tennis offering is sold via specialty / niche stores. Horrid not being able to try on stuff for fit before ordering.
