    VCore Pro 100

Recently got a 2019 version from TW as they were on discount, and was looking for a more forgiving and easier option to my weighted Vcore 95 and Duel G 330, and really enjoyed the first few hours - added leather grip and 3 grams total on hoop (3,9,12). Very stable and really amazing slicing...

    The gut/poly thread

I had tried it in my Vcore 95 and it was probably the best setup I had played with on Vcore 95 - plenty of power and great control too. It was 52/48 lbs is I recall correctly.

Yonex Vcore Pro 97HD vs Yonex Vcore Pro 97D

The 2018 Vcore 95 is also a feel and control racquet. Its 21 mm beam like the D but requires some customization to be more stable and for plow of HD version, and I even prefer it over HD version due to more pop and power.. I wanted a more stable and forgiving option to VC95 and tried the D, but...

    100 sq inch OHBH racquets?

I would also mention Prince TT100s and Speed Pro, I have only used 18x20 patterns... and around 340 grams, 330 swingweight, 6-7 HL very effective.

    Yonex Ezone Tour 98

With added weight (340-345gr in total), it didnt feel sluggish, and high plow/weight works well for my old school flatter game, with the added benefit of being super stable and very control oriented. String seems very important, YPTP sub-50 felt better than YPTAir for example, despite both being...

    Yonex Ezone Tour 98

I have now tried EZT again after a short break, and wow I was impressed and so my hitting partners.. I did make it headlight (around 6-7pts) and came to around 340 grams, and had ample control, feel and stability. Strung with softpoly around 47lbs and no issues with comfort. OHBH and slices also...

Yonex Vcore Pro 97HD vs Yonex Vcore Pro 97D

Stability should be a pro and that was my main issue with 97HD but added 5-6grams on the hoop and hope this will help with big hitters... for my game with OHBH and approach slicing, 97HD was better in general but stability of 97D in stock was what I liked. I wouldnt say its like Ezone Tour...

Yonex Vcore Pro 97HD vs Yonex Vcore Pro 97D

Totally feel the same, I had added a 2 grams only on the HD and one handed backhand was more difficult, and played better in stock form. I think I still refer the HD with some weight to make hoop more stable which makes it even more demanding but such a joy to hit...

    Vcore 95 2021 vs Vcore 95 red 2018

I have also tried the 2021 for a while, and actually liked several aspects better than 2018 such as stability, slices and even volleys, but when I customized to increase swingweight, it became too powerful and less contolled.. I could bump up the string tension but with 6grams at 3&9 on 2018...

2021 Yonex VCore Pro Official Thread

I also had very good initial gew hours with HD and maybe due to strings or putting weight on hoop, recent sessions werent as good... I would really like to play with this one and hope that I can find a good setup. What is your setup for strings and any modifications done?

2021 Yonex VCore Pro Official Thread

I have 6 grams at 3&9 for my Vcore 95, I also tried 4g at 10&2 for the 97D, but didnt like it as much as 2gr. Will try 2-4 grams at 3&9 next time...

2021 Yonex VCore Pro Official Thread

A few more hours with 97D, and a few grams on 10&2, however my one handed backhand was lacking some power and pop, when I switch back to my Vcore 95, had no issues.. not sure its the head shape or strings or something else, actually 97HD was amazing on my OHBH, surprised I did so poorly with...

Shapovalov using the new ezone (paint job)

Also watched his last game, and his backhands didnot seem as deadly/flat as before and also many of them, and some forehands were just long, more than usual I think so that was certainly a different more powerful racquet.. it could make sense to switch for more power and sweetspot, and surely he...

Yonex Vcore Pro 97HD vs Yonex Vcore Pro 97D

In fact I still do have my HDs (and a couple of them I wanted to try them in doubles), and will do a side by side comparison again by using such a setup, I did have few grams on 10&2 but didnt think about lower locations and it makes sense. My biggest issue was a lot of forehands were landing in...

Yonex Vcore Pro 97HD vs Yonex Vcore Pro 97D

I had short spree with 97HD, loved many aspects however found it underpowered and not stable enough for my game (even with some lead) with hard hitters with lots of spin. So I was sticking to me weighted Vcore 95 until I recently tried 97D, and really liked it. Not yet ideal specs in terms of...
