Grass but not this kind.

I think it’s sort of evident in the fact Rafa can come off the back of RG, no preparation, and play the same brand of tennis he does on clay on these courts. The transition is rather seamless these days but it shouldn’t be.

If a player can play their natural clay court game on grass with out having to make any modifications and win easily over more natural grass court players, then there’s an issue.

Great stat, truly shows the extent to which Roger consistently outclassed Nole during his prime, flogged him in most of their meetings. Nole in contrast, in his prime, generally just scrapes by old Roger in his mid 30s (e.g. Paris 2018), more often than not going the distance.

Getting just a little bit desperate are we? Don’t worry, I’m sure trying to dig up ‘dirt’ on Roger from almost half a decade ago will do wonders for Nole’s situation!

The fans and media love a scapegoat. Instead of accepting that Nole himself could be personally accountable for his troubles, they blame Pepe and claim his influence is destroying Djoko’s career. How tiresome.
