Based on this you should try the Exo3 Ignite

    Clones of the 6.1 95 16x18?

Came here to say this. I played my best junior tennis with this racket, have figured out after a big break (and trying everything) that I need to stick to open pattern, smaller head frames. Also you can get the team version which keeps a 330ish swingweight and add weight to the handle if you...

If the Pro Kennex big green stick is 'Shrek' then this is just the 'Ogre'. I owned the previous 100x 305 and it was stunning in person, this looks really cheap

Slow Chat: Just some thoughts about racquets.

The trouble is in the trade off with any new tech. I love O port racquets because they formed my junior years playing and were new and cool. Stringers hated them though and so did players who grew up with more connected 90s Wilsons, Heads and earlier Princes who thought the O ports were mushy. I...

I used 100x for a decent period of time. It was anemic and weirdly vibrating/stiff at the tip to the point where it compromised serve and defensive shots on the stretch. Everything else was great

Sums up my feelings that Prince has amazing engineers, bad marketing and horrific business strategy. Might have to add in bad designers now I've seen the new camo phantoms.

Racquets your sick of seeing on court? & what deserves more love at the rec/club level (or even your opponent on tour)

Banana pure aero + RPM blast @ 55lbs + flat strokes + elbow brace is unbelievably common for how specific of a combo it is. Tennis stringing knowledge is so low in my country. On the other hand, anyone I’m playing that has a 2000s era Prestige and is middle aged - I know I’m in for a rough...

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

I used the DR98 for a while, I compared two matched frames one with Grapplesnake M8 and one with Neon Hybrid. The M8 originally won me over easily, but I realised I played much better with the extra shape on the ball using the neon hybrid. These days I’d try the Toroline Wasabi X hybrid. The...

Are there any definitive racquets from the past that’s better than what’s on the market today? Or what’s the best Iteration of your favourite frame/s?

Played with the ignite as a junior, didn’t realise it was supposed to compete with the 6.1, might be worth a try

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

Watched her play live in Auckland, the racket looked unbelievably good in the sun. Best paintjob I've seen

The wasabi pro hybrid worked great for me at mid 40s in the 95 2015. Bit of extra lift and juice, never struggled for depth. I’d go upper 40s next time

Reading this thread after selling 3x DR98s and replacement grommets in the last year… signing myself up to clown school

I have the 2015 TT 95 and the ATS 95, both strung with Wasabi pro at 46lbs so I think I can give a comparison that is fairly unbiased. Like you I was a bit taken aback with the TT95, it was actually thrown in as an extra in a trade and convinced me enough to get the ATS as a main. The 2015...

    New Head "secret" racket?

Has those squared off edges in the throat, probably a speed, probably a pro. Also head is super conservative with their rackets at the moment so I'm not expecting anything wild.

I have both of these in my bag, the O3 Tour will be more controlled than you'd think and feels very very solid, but definitely lacks a bit of pop compared to modern frames, I haven't played the Extreme Tours but the 03 plays how people describe those. The 2015 Tour 95 is what got me to buy and...
