Nothing would hold as well as natural gut, im just curious if synthetic gut will generally play well longer than other setups (besides natural gut).

Im on a varsity team and some of the members string for a fairly cheap price at $8 labor. We are all friendly with each other so maybe that is why. if you find a friend you trust that knows how to string ask them to string for you and you could save a bunch.

Ive tried polylon ice and the baseline 16g. the ice is stiff and bad feeling compared to the baseline. The baselines have a nice crisp/pop? feeling and good all around until the tension drops. ? Recently got a dunlop aerogel 4d 200 european version (16x19) but whenever i mishit or hit the top of the frame there is a weird vibration, almost tinny even with the dampener. No cracks anywhere in the head. Is this a sign of strutural damage (crack?) in the handle? Thoughts please. Thanks
