Best Movie of All Time. You can only pick one!

Impossible to pick 1 as a favorite since it all depends on what I am in the mood to watch. One movie I won’t turn off when it’s on would be Fury Road. Here’s hoping George Miller’s magic on Furiosa makes it even more watchable.

What was Nike's tennis shoe line-up like in the 1980's if you exclude Mac's signatures, Air Trainer series, and Tech Challenge series?

Prince Boron at one point carried a $499 retail price. Adjusted for inflation that is $1,400 today. Here in SoCal, I only saw 1 guy playing with that stick (number 1 player at a rival high school) and he carried 2.

    Vintage Tennis Shoes

Were these the first shoe with endurance rubber soles? Can’t remember if there were any others before them.

I had the dubious distinction of owning a pair of Air Ace’s. Otherwise known as Air Revolution low. I think it was actually a mid top that cut right into the ankle bone, and heavy AF! My vote for the worst tennis shoe ever made. I wanna say it was released on 88 or 89. Google it, there’s...

There was 2 leather mesh models iirc. 1) Meadow Supreme (low top) 2) Challenge Court (3/4 top) that was also worn by NBA players (Moses Malone) 3) Bruins (all leather low tops, that were marketed I believe as basketball shoes but I wore them for tennis) 4) Wimbledon (all leather low tops)

    Mesh vs. All Leather shoe

Yeah, the problem with tennis shoes, is that they wear out quickly. Not many will want to invest $$$. for something that lasts a few months, so we’ll never get a hard court shoe that has fancy uppers and carbon midsole supports.. at least not anymore.

    Mesh vs. All Leather shoe

Well, that’s disappointing to hear. I have 2 pairs of the Legend Elite HG & AG, and they are the most comfortable cleats I’ve owned. I’ve tried many models of the Vapors.. hated them all. Off to **** I go in search of more kangaroo!

    air mac attack returns?

Yeah, back in the day it was a great shoe for the summer since there is nylon mesh. More flexible than the modern tennis shoe without the lateral stabilization built in. Too bad we have zero clay courts here in the west. Great re-release nonetheless.

    air mac attack returns?

Thanks! So it appears to be as the original. More of a lifestyle shoe. Will still snag a pair for nostalgia.

    air mac attack returns?

Air or not, hopefully they put in a decent midsole and a durable tennis outsole. Hoping the new ones have endurance outsoles to last on hardcourt. Wishful thinking for sure.

Are people still moving out of cities ?

Should have clarified, in North Orange County that could inhabit a family. Yes, you can find smaller condos to live in.. but most of the listing I see around my area for a home start at $700K. Most are much more.

Where I live, the absolute bottom dollar is appx. $700k for a house. And yes, factor in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Newport Beach and you could be spending up to $20M+ for one. Yes, those are reserved for the upper .00001%, but there’s a lot of houses selling in the 1-3M range.
