would appreciate any input in terms of comparing playing characteristic and also if a 4.0 player can handle and utilize best features of either frame.

I think you'll get your answers if you read the two threads separately. The answer to the second part of the question is... yes... and it will allow you to have a frame that can still be great for you, or keep getting better as you do...

I don't believe in racquets for certain levels... as long as you're prepared to improve your fitness and technique you can play with any racquet (unless you are 90 or 4 yrs old and a racquet is too heavy for you). I played with a wooden racquet when I was small, and that was probably heavier than the racquet I play with today, as an adult. It was also a "players racquet"... but I never knew and it never made a difference... Hand-to-eye coordination, watch the ball, work on your technique... and most importantly try to enjoy the game of tennis...
