May 12th 97 Raw has been fuego. Really feels like the attitude era now. Totally different show than a few months ago. First time Paul Bearer hints at a secret/Kane but doesn't say what it is yet. It's when he comes out with the head wrapped bc Taker burned him last week. I guess we have seen the old dark hair and makeup Paul for the last time. Watching the Nitro from the same date next. (the last few Nitro's have been boring tbh and only an hour each bc of Basketball) looking at the past few weeks it's a wonder how it takes another year for the tide to shift. Also had I been watching back then and I was older, now im seeing I'd have been a huge Austin fan. He's been entertaining af and easily one of my fav things every time he's on screen. As a 13yo Shawn fan, I couldn't get into him like this. Also, RVD vs Jeff Hardy is on this show wtf o_O

Next time I'll do the recap after the final segment, wasn't done with the whole show but was loving it so much. Last segment is where Shawn kicks Bret over the wheelchair. Seen the kick and the "you don't have the insides to do it" a million times, but never the whole segment. Damn, the HEAT these guys have is palpable. They are both looking like they want to kill each other and Bret's promo is hilariously entertaining. Shawn staring a whole through him while Bret talks about Shawn "coming out here and shaking your ass" :-D

May 19th Raw was also great. Faarooq defeats the Rock but stops the nation when they try to attack him after. Some foreshadowing. A great promo with Undertaker in the ring and Paul comes on the screen and starts talking about the secret and Taker looks nervous and uneasy af and says he needs more time to think. And great tension between Shawn, Austin, and the Hart foundation. Show started and ended with Austin/Michaels fighting, and in the middle was the Sunny Days comment :X3: in other news I plan to start Heels tonight.

Sid in 1991 was cracking me up again. The biggest Hogan fanboy ever when they are doing the poses together at the end of Summerslam. His reaction when Hogan rips off the referee shirt. :-D

I still haven't started with Heels. I have the first episode but haven't found time to watch yet. Definitely going to watch. It might be once the season is finished.

Shawn was such a scumbag back then. But you already know that. :p Damn, the sunny days comment. Being a heel and being a heel. This was something else. One of those don't mess with family situations. It's amusing at the minute because that Sid clip is on my mind and I'm imagining Bret shouting ''I'll kill ya'' before he rips out some of that precious HBK hair.

Big night tonight with All Out. I'm still deciding if I shoulder order it. I'm only really into the CM Punk vs Darby Allin match, but there are some other nice matches on paper.

Word around the campfire says that Gable Steveson has signed for WWE.

All out was solid, 2nd best show after Revolution 2020 imo. Bucks vs Lucha bros was match of the night and Baker vs Statlander was 2nd best. Punk Darby should’ve opened the show no idea why it was the third to last match.

WWE getting ready to drown out some noise tonight. I'm hearing Daniel Bryan chants right now in my mind. Maybe they mix it up and give us CM Punk and Daniel Bryan chants.

Adam Cole walking right in to a big angle or stable. Yeah, I'm still an AEW novice but wow, CM Punk turning up, then Danielson and Cole a couple of weeks later. If the needle isn't getting moved then it surely will be soon. I would imagine that it all depends on the booking

It was very hard for Daniel Bryan to make the decision to join AEW. Family in WWE and he also felt he was treated like family, unlike CM Punk. In Punk's case, it would be like, welcome to AEW, then losing to Cody Rhodes in the first match. Sorry, I'm getting the company confused and I'm mixing up Cody and Triple.

I'm sure Bryan Danielson (so long, Daniel Bryan) will be pleased to be able to wrestle the matches in Japan and so on.

@Ronaldo, you were right about the whose side is Cole on situation.

Before The Hulkster came in and no sold the powerbomb, I'm sure some out there thought that Vader would defeat Ric Flair and end his career. In 1993! haha Yeah, right on, Ric.

Damn, he's another one who could just flick between face/heel and do an outstanding job at both. The heel version is what I'm most used to but some real good promos in the build to this Vader match. Being the dirtiest player in the game and then an upstanding gentleman. Don't make em like they used to.

Speaking of not making em like they used to. You should enjoy this. I just read the headline and I'm intrigued. Question is, are you ready to escape the Undertaker?

Saw the WWE SD commercial for 9/11 this Friday. Never forget leaving the Post Office before a meeting at work, 8:45-50, turned on the radio to an unbelievable live news story. Walked into this meeting and mentioned to turn on a television. Will not believe this...........................................

Tony Khan can't even afford that. OK, maybe stretching the truth a bit. I'm sure he could afford it, but that kind of money per show is just outrageous.

I quite like the flight of the Valkyries remix they are using for Danielson's theme.

Just to continue on from what Mick Foley said. Don't want to sound like I'm anti WWE. haha The big point he made was if it is not broke, don't fix it. This is something you guys would understand more because you watch NXT. The NXT guys going to Raw and Smackdown, they have their characters altered when there is no need to do it. Mr. Black said both guys in the match can't shine on Raw or Smackdown like they do on NXT.

As for me, my appreciation for Ric Flair is on the rise again. I'm trying to find more promos I haven't heard before.

I was so hyped because even though I knew WWE, I wasn't the jaded ol soul I am now. I bet I was thinking WWF would end up having a light heavyweight division that could compete with what WCW was doing. Silly me.

The Great Sasuke vs Taka was good at Canadian Stampede. I believe the original plan was to sign Sasuke, but Taka impressed people more so they got him instead. And then you look at what WWE did with Taka. The Great Sasuke might have felt lucky that he didn't join WWF, although I can't confirm that. :p
