How to beat a DAMN PUSHER????

The truth of the matter is that if you lose to a pusher he is probably better than you are. Pushers may not hit the ball hard, but many of them are good.

im a baseliner; what is better low or high?

It's really personal preference more than anything else.

wat string job would u recommend

I was stringing at 70, so tension loss probably affected me a bit more. Anyways noobplayer, if you don't like poly, I'd go ahead and try live wire. As for the tension, no one else can really tell you that. But if you try 18g, you'll get much better feel. I'd give bb ace a try before live...

What are the advantages of gut supposed to be?

That was why I was asking the question. I guess I rely on a ton of spin and a huge forehand, as well as a large number of drop shots. So maybe my spin and forehand don't work with gut, but why couldn't I hit drop shots, and more importantly, why did I break it so fast? It just seems kind of...

wat string job would u recommend

I guess I would have broken it in about the same. You didn't notice anything odd about it?

wat string job would u recommend

That's odd, because I popped that stuff every 4 or 5 days and still had massive tension loss. How fast were you breaking it?

wat string job would u recommend

Livewire xp is great, but it loses tension like none other. I used it for I while, but it was just irritating for it to noticably lose tension within minutes.

What are the advantages of gut supposed to be?

I don't get why you want your strings to be elastic like that, instead of hard and unforgiving. When I strung with gut, I played so bad that I would've had them cut out, but they broke in ten minutes so I didn't have to. Did this again. Same result, except they actually lasted almost an hour...

    So I'm a Westerner...

It is possible to hit the ball flat with grips more extreme than your regular old western grip, so I wouldn't worry about. My grip's been called Hawaiin, and I can flatten out if I want to. It does take a little getting used to, though. I would definitely not switch to semi-western for...

How long does poly last you?

Anywhere from 30 minutes to so long I get it cut out. 18g Ace at about 70 though.

    Has Nadal Reached his Peak?

This is just stupidity, the single greatest shot in tennis is hit with bad technique? Sure, someone with bad technique can be number 2, but someone with bad technique on the shot they ride to victory, that's nonsense. Nadal is perfectly capable of a hitting the ball with conventional form, but...

I got the muscle now what?

If you really want to incorporate a biceps into your shots, use an extreme western grip like nadal. But I really wouldn't suggest changing grips because of added muscle.

2 handed backhand: would there be a purpose in learning it ?

Skuludo, My assumption is that you are set up when blasting a backhand 79 miles and hour in which case you could run arround it and hit a forehand 90. And yes, a two hander is more consistent. But is power the way to measure a shot's success? I'm pretty sure I can consistently hit my...

2 handed backhand: would there be a purpose in learning it ?

There are only four reasons you would want to hit a one hander: 1. You want to look good 2. You want to disguise your kick-ass slice (like Samprass) 3. You need to hit a ton of topspin (like Gaston Gaudio) 4. You just can't get the feel of the two-hander (like Roger Fedrer) I don't...

whats the world record for a 14U serve (how fast)?

No, because roddick's record is the atp record. The actual fastest serve to ever go in the court was 165 hit by some random old guy (like 40 or so).

    Serving Stance: Pinpoint or Platform?

Yah, but you have some kneebend, and arched back, and a shoulder rotation. If arm speed was 90 percent of it, you would be able to sit down in a chair and serve a hundred miles an hour. Anyone going to claim to be able to do that?

Does a short head makes a fast service??

It depends on how you serve. Oversize racquets are not more powerful when you take a full swing.

One Piece or two piece - why?

My coach plays with a yonex with a on piece string job. The most notable difference between the one and two peice for me is that I hit good with a one piece and terrible with a two piece. It feels fine at first but then the mains must loosen up differently from the crosses because after an...

    Racquet tension range?

The tension range means that if you string outside of it, they won't replace your racquet. But I cracked a 300g by stringing it at 75 with natural gut and I got a new stick, so I wouldn't pay any attention to all that recommended stuff.

    n6.1 16x18 95 users use lead tape ?

My ncode 6.1 95s weigh 13.75 ounces. It feels really solid, but I might add a bit more. Just keep adding weight, under the grip and at 3 and 9 o'clock until you racquet starts to feel sluggish. Some people I no add it only at the end of the raquet which will give you more power, but won't...

What NRTP are the good juniors in USA?

If you're a 16 super in Texas, I think you classify as 5.0 at least. I've played a couple of 5.0 guys. I've beat all the ones I've played within the last couple years. Does that make me a 5.0 too? Because if it does, I'd have to say the guys in the top 20 in Texas are 5.5s.
