Yeah I do think that it does help on defensive shots, but I meant it was difficult to maneuver, as in when on the run and having to hit a slice or heavy topspin ball where you don't have time to really get set and use the mass of the racquet to benefit the shot.

Yeah, I basically covered the entire head with lead tape, except the bottom from the two end knots on the main strings. I felt it gave the racquet a pretty solid feel, but it was just too lacking in maneuverability so I ended up experimenting with less and less lead until I ended up with none...
