After the lead toys and flammable pajamas, i'm wary of anything coming from china.
one day a chinese racquet is gonna make someone's arm turn green and then catch on fire. You just wait and see!
They'll keep making it.
I just wish they would go back to old-skool graphics. that big "prince" logo looks stupid. It's the #1 reason i don't buy a new one and look for old ones. YOU HEAR ME, PRINCE???
Nike does that with every sport. A lot of baseball players are going to regular Nike sport shoes with cleat bottoms. Some are football (american) shoes with baseball cleat soles.
black out!
I like the aero-drives (still not sold on the cortex). But hell, now i want a blacked-out aero! And despite what Fedace says, LOTS of people would love to have a pure black racquet.
pay attention
The Dick's Sporting Goods near my house has several Slazenger models.
I used to play with a pro-braided, but it broke. Since it was the second slaz frame that had broken on me, i decided to switch brands.
I have to agree that the paintjob on the new APD is nice. Makes it stand out from the other Babs out there. In fact i was looking away from buying an APD until i saw the new p/j, and now i'm leaning toward getting it again.
So there's this POG OS i want to sand down and repaint...
just kidding
But seriously, I want to repaint an extra stick i have laying around, and I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of paint that racquet-makers use generally. I figure the job will be made lots easier if i stayed as...
I did the TW demo program, and the shipping wasn't bad at all. I'm on the East Coast, and it took just a couple of daysfor the racquets to get here. I demo'ed 3 sticks, and the whole process was easy-peasy-lemon-squeeezy.
ESPN isn't that bad. Thank your lucky stars tennis isn't on the VS channel. If you go, "which channel??", that's my point exactly. Talk to an NHL fan.
TTC can't be hard to get cause it's on his Comcast, and he didn't even ask for it.
As for announcers...I think 90% of announcers are terrible...
I thought he was gracious, and gave congrates to a guy who beat him coming off a drug suspension.
He could have said "I could have won if the jerk wasn't all hopped up on the juice!"
or
"I will eat his children"
Lighten up, man.
I think it depends on the round that Blake falls apart in. If it's like the first or second, Dunlop says, "um...that's not our racquet. Doesn't it say "prince" or something?"
If it's later, then Dunlop argues, "Hey, isn't that one of OUR frames??" ;)
