WIMBLEDON, why is it so boring ? and Suggestions on Improving the tournament ?

At the risk of being attacked by the fed-following... lol don't let federer play, that'll make things interesting, it just seems so boring to watch when you can practically garantuee federer will be in the finals, barring some bizarre injury, I find the women more interesting to watch at...

yeah that's a definite rip-off, I just bought the extreme pro 4 3/8 with Hurricane Pro 17 at 55 pounds for 227$ CDN tax in, the racket alone was 175$CDN... Can't wait to play with it!!!! :D demoed and loved it

    Ice Queen: Shriekapova.

lol seriously though I really had no clue she was a lesbian or I wouldn't have made those comments in the first place

    Ice Queen: Shriekapova.

This is probably a little off-topic but I now take back what I said about Mauresmo before, I know understand it came off as homophobic. To my defence, I had no clue she was lesbian until tintin's last post, but I'm very sorry to anyone I may have offended.

    Ice Queen: Shriekapova.

what the hell was that for? I am not homophobic, simply stated I really prefer Sharapova to Mauresmo, and yes looks are a factor in my decision. My favorite female player based purely on her play is Myskina but she has been struggling and has been practically invisible lately.

    Pro Signatures?

Wow that's really cool Andres! I'd like to do the same with a Canadian flag but having one signature (Daniel Nestor) wouldn't be too impressive lol

    Ice Queen: Shriekapova.

as bad as this may sound, I totally agree lol , I honestly get scared at the sight of women like Mauresmo, who would probably make me scream and run if I met her in a dark alley, that nice manly tatoo on her arm is the cherry on top of that female-shwarzenneger body.

    Pro Signatures?

    Pro Signatures?

Just curious, do any of you guys have signatures from your favorite players? I don't know how the other tournaments work but, living in the Montreal region I go to the Rogers Cup every year and it's actually pretty easy to get signatures from the players, though you might have to sacrifice the...

what do you think is the best head racquet?

The best racquet I can suggest for volleying is the FXP Instinct, I've had one for 2 years now, since I was 3.0 (am now 4.0-4.5) and it is a pretty amazing tweener racquet. It got me to start attacking the net because it's very forgiving on volleys and incredibly manoeuvrable. Not the greatest...

    Grip Size

Thanks for the advice Louis, I'm thinking I'm going to follow your advice, especially when you mentioned the wristy play, which I had a very bad habit of doing on my forehands before taking lessons and really imrpoving my game (this was about 2.5-3 years ago), I didn't know about the extra power...

Flexpoint to Microgel - any takers?

I haven't officially made the switch from my FXP Instinct to the Extreme Pro , but after demoing the MEP I just don't look at the FXP the same anymore lol. I admit the MEP doesn't hold a candle to the FXP Instinct at the net but in serve power and baseline play I was amazed and can't wait to buy...

    Grip Size

Thanks for the help, and no I haven't demoed the 4 1/4 and the problem is its major hassle for me to demo a racket because they'll only give it to me for 2 days and I live a good half hour away from the shop by car, took me 3 hours to go by bus and subway from school to the place and home so I...

    Grip Size

A little background, I've always played with Head racquets, been playing for 4 years now, and I've always used 4 3/8 grip. I'm currently using a FXP Instinct 4 3/8 with a wilson pro Overgrip. This weekend I went to my local tennis shop and demoed the Microgel Extreme Pro (head) at 4 3/8. I fell...

Whats the Best long lasting Ball to buy?

I think the longest lasting that I play with are Wilson Advantage but then again I never tried the Dunlop, I usually just use Wilson UsOpen or Championship. I have to go against most people of the board here though on the Penn balls, i can't stand them because though they play great they seem to...

BABOLAT PD RODDICK or HEAD MICROGEL EXTREME PRO

Just to reply to vinnier, you're right about the wow effect, i was amazed the first day, i played 3 straight days with it and I was still hitting and serving much better, hoping that wow effect will last for a long long time ;)

BABOLAT PD RODDICK or HEAD MICROGEL EXTREME PRO

Well I haven't tried the PDR but am currently demoing the Extreme Pro, and like you my current racket is an FXP Instinct, though it's not leaded up. The only thing I can tell you that might be helpful is that the extreme pro blows the Instinct out of the water from the baseline and in terms of...

    Head Microgel Extreme Pro

Yeah rooski I think you really nailed it there! I had quite a few mis hits on the top of the frame and I am also used to the FXP Instinct, which feels much lighter! Once again though my opinion has changed on this racket lol I just played with it for 3 hours and had some arm and shoulder pain...

    Head Microgel Extreme Pro

It's amazing how much your view of a racket can change overnight! I played for a few hours yesterday with the MEP and I got my first tennis elbow! I'm still torn over weather to get the racket or not, because I never hit so many winners or aces as I have in the past 2 days, and the racket suits...

    Head Microgel Extreme Pro

I just got the demo yesterday and tried it for a few hours, I love it! My current racket is a flexpoint instinct, which I've been using for almost 2 years now, and the huge change in stiffness took wsome time to get used to but once I did i was amazed at the bombs i could hit, alhough i still...

    mental game

I've got to say my mental game is terrible, I go from completely dominating a match to losing a set 6-1, I guess my head-game is just like my favorite player, Safin. I somehow manage to lose to players which i am way better than ( I know I don't sound to humble lol) but my conmfidence comes and...
