    I personally don't think impact on sport/society should be taken into account. If you do you always get Ali at number 1. This kills any serious debate about who is the greatest sportsman of all time. In purely sporting terms I would have Armstrong, Woods and Federer above Ali.

    I used to think maybe tennis should be an Olympic sport and that the event would grow in stature. However, having watched just how much the athletes in "lesser" sports care about the Olympics, I have completely turned against it. It should be dropped in favour of squash.
