should federer have stayed with 90 sq inch racquets?

can we have that pinned somewhere please? and sent to the atp as well?

Do you consider Nadal a Tier 1 great?

it's a joke even considering nadal being put on the same level as borg, sampras, federer and alike. they should finally get serious about doping in tennis ... and by that i mean taking action against it instead of playing ideal world like they have done so far

    CTS Thunderstick 100

on the contrary, both the midsize(90) and the oversize(110) had a quite open string pattern hence very good grip on the ball => spin it was the prince flagship at its time and damn expensive. in terms of power it could compete even with kuebler which however had a much nicer feel. the...

How many people still play with rackets that are over 20 years old?

me, too yay :D frames from back then just feel solid. many newer feel like hollow plastic toys

What is the STIFFEST Tennis Racquet ever made?

well something must have been right about it because for me and many other players i knew back then those kueblers indeed were great when it came to arm problems. around that time in the 90s i had serious arm probs over quite some time and switching to a kuebler solved that completely. i felt...

Some questions about using the wilson ncode nsix one 90 racket.

gut and good multis are expensive. hybrid may be an option. you might wanna experiment which one to use for the mains and crosses. example: kirschbaum super smash is quite soft for a poly but doesn't have a good grip on the ball so you could use that for the crosses and the multi or gut for the...

    Fischer older mid models

Head Prestige Tour- what happened to this frame?

it's nearly impossible to tell on a photo due to the focus. but in case you made the pic you might notice it in reality. anyway as i said it's quite little and might not bother most players at all.

Head Prestige Tour- what happened to this frame?

thanks for your explanation but i'm afraid it does not apply to what i've seen over the last 10 years (or even more). i don't string the mains other than the crosses actually i don't even string 2 piece. also the shape did not change that much with or without strings. looking at both unstrung...

Head Prestige Tour- what happened to this frame?

ah, my bad, i was talking about the prestige tour not the pro tour.

Head Prestige Tour- what happened to this frame?

it's not about the mold it's the shape. the head of the classic is more round. that's not a secret. the pro tour's head has always been a little "longer".

Head Prestige Tour- what happened to this frame?

well i have a trisys 300 and a classic 600 right in front of me and they are not identical. i was not referring to any other 270s or whatsoever model. but the example is nice :)
  15. F

Head Prestige Tour- what happened to this frame?

no, the classic had a more round head. the tour was more oval. didn't like the tour's shape so i switched to the classic. the main reason for the different grip was the possibility to insert weight sticks.

    easy draw for nadal.again.

well let's see. nadal had marcos daniel, gabashvili and now hewitt. fed had martin, acasuso and now mathieu. you're not gonna tell me gabashvili is the same level as acasuso on clay e.g.? this is not about whether nadal is good or not. it's aboout his opponents. shouldn't be too hard to get my...

    easy draw for nadal.again.

it's not just at the french but well looking at fed's opponents it's not hard to tell who has the harder way ...

    easy draw for nadal.again.

just did a little grandslam draw review and i noticed nadal is quite 'lucky' regarding his draw. especially in the first rounds he's hardly ever faced someone who could hurt him. shamed be he who thinks evil of it

    New Princes

i found the original o3 sticks very easy to string. anyway a joy compared to e.g. the fu... 'outside' head grommets like the prestige for example.

ATP to suspend players who skip mandatory events

de villiers is a total miscast. he's done nothing but crap from the beginning. i hope the responsible people don't let one jerk mess up a classy and traditional sport like tennis. why/how did he get the job anyway?
