Success! - new relay was $30 (could probably do it cheaper) new remotes will now be 10$. Everything fits in original enclosure and uses same connectors/cables. I'll write it up and post here for anyone interested in how to do it. 3/10 difficulty. No electrical experience needed.

Anyone lose their remote to this thing? I'm looking at replacing the whole relay rather than pay 120 for a new remote

Ive gotm Yeah i have a pair. Ive only worn them a couple of time but there is no break in period and they are incredibly comfortable. They don't feel blocky like some other wilson shoes. Similar feel to adidas with a lot more cushioning

seriuosly? those arn't really little balls and tubes...well they are but they are .at a molecular level. They can produce those kinds of structures with advanced chemistry and heat controll. Put under the right conditions, the atoms just form into those patterns.
