    Thanks. Good idea. I recognized this a while back and suggested we play points/sets for the exact reason you mentioned. The only problem is I usually do organized match play at least twice a week, so I actually need some practice time.

    Velvet: You are correct. Probably time to find new hitting partners. Sureshs: My guys don't get the message. They repeatedly attempt winners on balls I intentionally hit to them in an effort to keep the ball in play. Sometimes they even pump their fist and yell "come on!" Lol.

    How realistic is it to find a practice partner that actually wants to hit a lot of balls and keep the ball in play? Most practice partners I encounter will purposely attempt to hit an immediate winner on the 2nd or 3rd shot. Same thing at the net - the guy immediately goes for a passing shot...
