Same thing happened to me in a ladder match. Guy wanted to warm up with old balls, then start the match with new ones. Not sure if he wanted to preserve the life of the balls just for match play. I wonder what the pros do for their warm up...use new balls? Then proceed with those into the first set?

Every person I played who used an APDGT at 4.0 hit a noticeably heavy ball, making it tougher to deal with.

Both are great strings. MB felt almost like a synthetic gut to me, very lively for a poly, very comfortable, great feel. B5E may be a better fit for a powerful frame like the APDGT. It's noticeably lower powered. Also comfortable, with great tension maintenance. Perhaps a smarter alternative...

SW on mine seemed a bit heavier than spec. But stock, it's light and maneuverable enough. For plow, I added lead at 3 and 9 and at the handle, plus leather. This improved it greatly, gave it more "body". With gut/poly it has a great feel.

There isn't much out here on the Dunlop 400 Tour. It's a great racquet if you add lead and a leather grip. Haven't tried a PDR yet.

You may want to try an 18 gauge multi or gut at a lower tension to get some feel and power in the 18x20

Haven't tried the Liquidmetal version. I found the Microgel version to be fine. Never had problems with Head grommets so far.

Any Radical Midplus works. The MicroGel version is one of the lightest. Also the i.Prestige XL grommet, but that is heavier. If you want to lighten the swingweight even more, take off the grip and just use 2 overgrips on the handle. This turns the PT630 into a plush tweener.

This racquet feels almost identical to the old school Prince CTS Graduate
