Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love this shoe. It is by far my favorite shoe, and if I don't like the Barricades (coming in today!), then these will be the ones I go back to. But with the climate here, the heat is making me try other options.

That's exactly where I'm at right now. I'm actually hoping the TW version is the wrong photo, and I get the other version. We shall know on Tuesday.

I just ordered the new 1.5 from TW, but now seeing the "actual" version elsewhere im torn. I've been wishing that the LB had better ventilation which the TW version has, but I like the design of the "actual" version more. I guess I'll know on Tuesday which version I get.

Agree with this. Lunars have way more cushioning than the Vapors. But to be fair, I only wore the CB's and the AMC's about 3 times a piece since the CD's killed my arches (even after I put in aftermarket insoles), and the AMC's just didn't fit right (even after sizing down).

Yeah, in Texas you don't have to self rate for tourneys...the #1 guy in 3.5 hasn't even self rated. Good news is, the only people who qualify for the Texas adult masters championship at the end of the year are computer or tournament rated players. No self rates or non rated players.

Exactly! I've driven across the metroplex from Dallas to Fort Worth (about an hour) to hit with friends, and when I get there it takes forever for my body to warm up. Maybe it's because it's usually just for fun, and the adrenaline isn't flowing like in a tournament, but I don't want to risk it.
