This is good news, when even the newest BLX grommet fit PSC with little modification. I actually feel quite comfortable now and will replace old grommet with one for K6.1 when current string breaks.

Among all 6.1 generations, I found BLX and Classic to have very similar characteristics. And guess what I found to be a great match for C6.1? Solinco Tour Bite. It makes sense because TB is one of the crisper polys, compared to RPM or others. So perhaps you can give it a try too.

Indeed. I do feel Tour Bite 18 to have that perfect combination of spin, control, and power. It's my favorite string so far. Durability while not great, is still much better than most multi. For some reasons, I found RPM to be especially good for top spin backhand. Perhaps it's the longer...

I believe tension drop has something to do with hitting time too. But anyway my finding is not conclusive, I would prefer to try it one more time to be 100% sure.

Yes BW doesn't come in 18g or 17g. That's why I'm comparing TB 18 to WB 16 and RPM 17 as these are the thinnest gauges for each string. Funny that although TB is the thinnest of the 3. I found its tension maintenance to be good, at least better than the thicker BW. But I may have to try each...

That's exactly how I feel about TB 18 (crisper, more power than BW/RPM and more spin than RPM). BW 16 feels softer but not as soft as RPM.

Maybe not everyone would agree, but among last 3 strings I tried (on PS K6.1 95 16x18), my order of preference is: Tour Bite 18 > RPM Blast 17 > Barb Wire 16

I'm not willing to sacrifice *too much* feel for spin. So RPM sounds less and less like my ideal string. Interesting... NRG is a very soft string. This means TF Pro mix should be on the soft side too.
