Dimitrov testing new frame in Toronto

This is precisely what I said. The RF97 is 9 pt HL. Grigor's old racquet is 3-4 pts HL.
  2. Backhand Smash

Dimitrov testing new frame in Toronto

It sure seems to be the RF97 and why he needs additional lead on that one is a mystery to me. He tends to like 3-4 pt HL racquets so maybe that's why but a 360 SW (if that number is correct) seems a bit too much for a one-handed backhand, especially with his body build. We'll see how it works...

Looks like a PS97 mold w lead, yeah.

    FEDERER IS WITH UNIQLO NOW

A certain Djokofan seems to be in desperate need of a life lol. Unsurprising, of course. :)

2018 ATP Barcelona Open Banco Sabadell

He is. Top 10 material for sure. The same can't be said about his character though, unfortunately.
  6. Backhand Smash

2018 ATP Barcelona Open Banco Sabadell

Tsitsipas is very annoying in a quite repulsive way. Tries to cheat as well. The ball obviously hits the plastic line and changes it's trajectory making it impossible for him to hit it well and he proceeds to argue with the umpire that the ball is actually out. What a clown. Shame about that...

    2018 Monte-Carlo Masters - General Discussion Thread

It seems that along with being aesthetically challenged some people need an eye exam as well. It should be obvious from my avatar photo that I am not in fact Donald Trump. Djokovic fans... :)

No need for legal advice here. Google should be able to help you though. :)

I'm pretty sure that's an oxymoron, however you look at it. :)

2018 Rotterdam final - Roger Federer vs Grigor Dimitrov

With his current backhand Grigor can't win a set against an in-form Federer.

    Yonex Vcore Pro 97

Still, why the difference? And if anything, the heavier racquet should be with a lower RA imo. A "platform" 310g 64 RA racquet sounds like a bit of an oxymoron to me.
  12. Backhand Smash

    Yonex Vcore Pro 97

Why the hell are they making the 310 63 RA and the 330 65-66 RA? What is the "logic" behind this decision?
  13. Backhand Smash

    Yonex Vcore Pro 97

The Fukky video indeed seemed to showcase spin instead of power, intentionally or not, with low string tension at that. We'll have to wait and see...

AO 2018 Final - Roger Federer [1] vs Marin Cilic [6]

I am very happy for the boy. Such a great achievement, especially at his age. I hope that he is able to keep his level for a long long time. Tennis needs him in this age of two-handed no talent hacks.

In all seriousness... a serious question

In all seriousness... a serious answer: No.
  16. Backhand Smash

    Yonex Vcore Pro 97

My thinking was that you might advise people to string lower in order to have a less stiff/boardy feeling. However, in terms of control higher tension is indeed better if you have more power and moreover, most manufacturers seem to think that their customers generally can't distinguish between...

    Yonex Vcore Pro 97

From the Yonex site: Pro 97 Stringing Advice: 45 -60 lbs Duel G 97 Stringing Advice: 50-65 lbs What would that mean in terms of the relative stiffness of these racquets? Am I correct in thinking that that the Pro 97 might be even stiffer than the Duel G? I hope that's not the case. Source...

Dimitrov's loss reminds me of Novak's at RG 2009

In this particular case I can probably agree with even such a considerably less than smart comment.
  19. Backhand Smash

Dimitrov's loss reminds me of Novak's at RG 2009

He needs to: 1. Stop being a scared "pussycat". 2. Hire someone to fix his backhand. He needs to shorten his stroke substantially. 3. Not look away from the ball until after he has hit it. The serve is a mental issue more than anything else but he still needs to work on it. He seems to be...

AO 2018 4th Round - Chung vs Djokovic

Djokovic was given a lesson by a younger, better and more aggressive version of himself. Kudos to Chung. Well played, lad.

You can't win slams if you are too scared of losing matches. Simple as that.
  23. Backhand Smash

Andy Murray practices in Abu Dhabi but it doesn't look good. Brisbane & Aus Open in doubt.

Pretty much this I am surprised that people are still being fooled by his "playing possum" routine. There is about 1% chance (and I am being generous here) that he actually feels any legitimate pain and/or discomfort due to injury during that video.

    actual time playing tennis

Comparing an individual sport to team sports is like comparing apples to meatballs. Both have nutritional value and are roughly round in shape but the similarities kind of end there.

2017 WTF Final: G Dimitrov vs. D Goffin

On the bright side, no double faults or unforced errors, even if he wasn't as aggressive as he should have been in the end. Good stuff and a deserved title, our boy! We are moving in the right direction. :)

2017 WTF Final: G Dimitrov vs. D Goffin

When you have 3 break points you can take a risk on at least one, no?
  27. Backhand Smash

2017 WTF Final: G Dimitrov vs. D Goffin

Waiting for your opponent to make a mistake on breakpoint over and over again is not what champions do. If and when Grigor realizes that, he will become a champion.
