Agassis string tension

Anyone know what string tension agassi uses? i have posted this thread already but no one had a clear answer.

ahh this thread has what you want. he uses the bb org (shown in the thread) at 66 lbs for clay. bb ALU for the rest of the time, 66 i believe, maybe 67 lbs. i wouldnt suggest this, your elbow will be in a world of hurt if you do this.

WOW! i use 62......its tuf...i would like to try 66 in a couple of months increasnig the tension little by little...but the real racuqet he uses which is the i.Radical or Paint job as a liquidmetal, tension range is 54-64 i have a liquid metal which has the same string tension range what wopuld happen if i put 66 or 67 ?

Well what kinda string do you use. If its a poly such as the Luxilon BB Orig that Agassi is currently using, 66 is for superhumans only. If its a multifilament or syn gut, 66 is not bad. I use 65 syn gut on my Fischer Pro Extreme FT but if i do a poly hybrid i lower to 50 mains and 55 syn crosses.

I use a combination of Babolat Duralast (wire) and Gamma Challenger (nylon) each one at 62...i would like to try 67 with both....will something happen?

There is a good chance that because the duralast is just one piece of poly and does not have any other strand of other fiber on it, it could snap during the stringing process. however its ok to up the tension on the challenger to 67.
