Anybody switched over from Head LM Fire to LM instinct tour XL?

I am considering a change from LM Fire to LM Instinct XL. It sounds like a good racquet.

Anybody here with experiences on how these racquets compare? Especially would want to know whether I would be losing or gaining any power on my serves by changing to LM Instinct. It is a much head light racquet so I assume it should be easier to swing on the serve.
How do they compare on groundstrokes?

Thanks!

That is a large steup IMO, this is the exact same racket Gasquet uses so consider that, perhaps you would be happier with a regular instinct instead?

I think in terms of weight it's going from 10.5 oz to 11.8 oz, however LM Instinct is much head light so should be easier to swing.

I would consider going for a regular Instinct but from experience (it could just be mental) I've found out that the additional 0.5" of length gives me a considerable advantage on my serves. The LM Fire that I use is 27.3" (even balance) and is pretty good on serves.

Well here are you specs right here http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageRCHEAD-LMFIRE.html

The SW is 16 higher, it is 67 stiffness, 10.5oz, even blance, larger head.

What level are you?

Right away you will have problems with the higher SW, and the LMIXL is 12-12.5oz, and finally going to such a head light racket will be a very large change.

Don't get me wrong this is one of my favorite rackets, but it is indeed a players racket.

I am planning to get a demo of LMIXL from TW next week. It's balance is so head light, it might be a good swing. Further my swing speed has gone up considerably and off late I seem to overhit with the LM Fire and it doesn't seem to stay that stable when hitting with someone who hits with powerful top-spin.

I am at 4.0 level on my fh and serves and about 3.5 on bh, volleys and lobs. Overall at a 3.5 level.

Thanks for a suggestion on the FPinstinct. However, it's 27".
Another appealing factor for LMIXL is the price. It's less than half of FPinstinct.

Can you think of any good 27.5" stick around 11.5 to 12 oz that I can order for a demo?

So how did it go?

Also who rated you or your various swings, I don't believe I am any more than a 3.5.

The XL is a lot heavier than listed, mine weighed over 12 when I got it. It may be listed as head light but dont forget it is longer so it cancels out. This is like playing with a real tour frame once you string it and put a grip on it so be careful.

The NXG OS fits, the Warrior OS and O3 Tour are slightly lighter. The NXG and Warrior are around the same price point. They're OS, but you mentioned stability, and the higher twistweight of an OS basically makes it similar to a racquet with lead at 3 and 9 in terms of twistweight and stability on off center shots.
