Just picked up a pro kennex diamond ace from a thrift store. Anyone familiar with this ace series stick? Any info would be great. Thanks!

they made a bunch of "Aces" in the pro kennex deck..
2007 ish...guessing...
Aces: (~ 85-90 sq inch head):
Diamond Ace (???)
or ....
Boron Ace 90 (90% graphite, 10% boron)
Black Ace 86 (100% graphite, black with red piping), Black Ace 90)
Silver Ace 90 (80% graphite, 20% Fiberglass? all it says on it is "soft foam core, glass & graphite")
Olympic Ace (70% graphite, 30% Fiberglass)
Bronze Ace (60% graphite, 40% Fiberglass)
Golden Ace (Wood with graphite overlays). Also Boron Golden Ace, Graphite Golden Ace ...
I would check the specs, if on your frame.
Also really check the grommet condition. It is what you can't see that could be an issue also.
I deal with a lot of players that pick up yard sale, flea sticks and they can really be a "Diamond" in the rough..
But lots can end up to be wall art...
Remember, frame are more that meet the eyes.
But lots can be neglected low end frames that need work, grommets are just as important as a solid frame....
After total cleaning and its passes inspection.
Most of the time, I have to roll out the Alpha RAB Fittix Grommets .....if possible..

The 2nd image above is the version of the Diamond Ace that I have. Quite stiff for the mid to late 1980s,
much stiffer than the Silver Ace that I played and a different mold.
