We sent a team down to oregon for the pacific northwest division tennis on campus tournament(World Team Tennis rules) for the first time. We didn't really know what to expect so we sent down 5 people. We ended up making it to the finals and qualifying for the nationals in north carolina in april!
Does anyone else play this league (i'm not even sure what this is classified as)? What type of level is expected at the nationals? We would like to do well to help show our seriousness to the university about becoming competitive (right now we are only a club). Any info anyone can provide would be great.
My school (Simon Fraser University in particular) and other schools just set up a BC interuniversity league. There has been talk about trying to go varsity if we make a big enough fuss.
