I have NRG2 on the mains and Synth on the crosses @ 62 lbs.
It is performs like a Luxury Sports car: All the comfort with all the power.
Smooth ride for sure.

Great on your arm/elbow if you are having problems.
A bit muted feeling, but I always liked vibration dampeners on my racket.

My coach uses it with a all poly setup, nice but does not rock my boat.

It's very comfortable but it's a jack of all trades sort of racquet and has nothing that really stands out except the comfort part.

None the less it is a very good all round racquet.

Mawashi hit the nail on the head. It's a good, all-around racket. Mine is 11.8oz with an overgrip on it, strung with TF Multifeel. I held it up against my older 5g's and it was slightly more round in the head than my older ones. Could be just the way it was strung, but I doubt it since they were the same overall length. Anyway, if you make contact with the ball near the upper half of the hoop, you'll definitely want to add some lead up there to keep the hits solid (or use a different frame). It has great touch at the net, but not the pop you'd get out of a ki 10 or a PD. Spin is just average, but I'd say control is above average. Of course, comfort is it's main selling point.

It is a jack of all trades racket but I think it also excels in Baseline groundstrokes. It hits a heavy ball and can control the ball very well with it and has good spin. Most players assume my deep balls look like they are going out but drop in at the last moment.
Comfort is definitely the #1 attribute followed by my opinion above.
Only weakness to me, is that Slices don't seem to stay as low and bite as well as other rackets.
It's more suited for a baseline basher vs. a chip and charger.

That's too too as in the right hands I does produce a heavy spin shot but nothing like a Babo.

I could not connect with the feel of the racquet and the K tecnhology... Not the K Factor, the Kinetic System... LOL! The first time I used it I though a piece of string fell into the frame and was bouncing around like a Mexican jumping bean.

Found out later that it was a bunch of bearings that is suppose to keep the frame moving through the contact... whatever, it felt like something loose in it or a baby's rattle.

So what you get is a really comfy frame that's more suited for basline bashing but not quite in the league of a Babo or KSix-One 95.

Btw, I completely forgot to ask why you are interested in this frame in the first place?

Cus I think that there might be more suitable frames out there unless you really dig the comfort thing.

I've changed from a Yonex RDS002 Tour to the PK Ki5 because I was finding the 002T too heavy over several sets and I've got pretty bad TE. The Ki5 is very forgiving and is a bit lighter but still hits a heavy ball as I can swing it a bit faster than the 002. I agree with others that it's a good all round racquet and there's reasonable power, touch and stability combined. I've tried lots of demos over the last 3 months - but the Ki5 seems to offer the best blend of everything without compromise in any one area. I was surprised at how stable it felt on volleys whilst feeling quite light. It does make a strange noise on mishits near the tip, but you soon get used to that. And it is very comfortable whilst retaining some feel. Good for all round players - doubles and singles.
