Got any opinions on this match-up? Post 'em here.

I can't wait to watch this QF match. If both Aga and Daniela play their best it should be a match filled with a ton of great shot-making. I'm guessing that the the first set won't be of a real high quality as both players will probably be nervous, Aga reaching her first QF ever and Daniela reaching her first since 2002 (IIRC). I'm thinking Aga will take the first set around 6-4, 7-5, etc with a lot of trading breaks of serve throughout. After that it's up for grabs. My gut instinct is Hantuchova in 3 sets. I want Aga to win, but the big-match experience that Hantuchova has might pull her through. Also, Aga has repeatedly said that she had nothing to lose against Sveta and Petrova... I don't think that is the case in this QF, with Aga leading their head-to-head 1-0.

I see radwanska in 7-6,2-6,6-1. Radwanska will probaly not be nervous. She doesn't seem like she would.

there's no way that will be the scoreline. Radwanska basically has no chance if she wins the first set. More importantly, Hantuchova LITERALLY has no chance if she wins the first set, cause she will start thinking OH MY GOD I AM ABOUT TO MAKE A SLAM SEMI and then she will get double-bageled. As long as she makes sure she loses the first set, she will focus and storm back for the win just like she did against Goddess yesterday.

I'ts a scoreline prediction were not using psycology to see who will win.

Yes, but psychology and mental-toughness has so much to do with the outcome of the match. However, that doesn't mean it should become a battle of whoever wins the first set loses the match kind of thing.

Your right it does, but it won't necessary declare the winner because of the first set.

I think it will either be Hantuchova in three or Radwanska in a tight straight set match. as for the whole Hantuchova will be nervous thing...I really don't see that, she really has nothing to lose here, and she is on the high of having made the tour championships where she beat the number 2 player, I think she may have learned to deal with her nerves better now and may surprise...but Radwanska has good form and was a junior champion here. But I am picking Hantuchova....either way it will be good

That's a good point. Hantuchove acts like a bit of a cat in headlights at times!

Hantuchova wins 6-2 6-2. There were some streaks of brilliance in there and overall good shot making. However, Radwanska's serving really hurt her and the drop shot was way overused. Now to watch Ana and Venus battle it out in a match that will probably be a polar opposite to this one.

Isn't this the 1st time that Hantuchova has ever made it this far in a major? Well done Daniela! Maybe she's finally starting to show some of that early promise that never really materialized.
