well, i've had a good run here. I just needed and wanted the points. Good luck to all that are still in the running to win

Thanks to aldeayeah for running this.

No I also think Nole will win it but unfortunately I picked him everyone else earlier as I've made far too many early exits recently and wanted to guarantee as many points as I could. Hope Nole wins!

After many first round exits myself, I can identify with what youre saying .... I've never thought of Nole as "Iron Man" but if he's able to somehow overcome the stress of his fantastic battle with Andy on Saturday to win his battle with Rafa on Sunday, that w/b more than just 37 unbeaten in a row!

Well done Love Game - well dono Nole!

I have to say, Nadal has finally been exposed. That might sound harsh but he would always draw the error in years gone by from the Federer backhand but Nole has no weaknesses. there are no excuses. Slow clay, an easy easy draw, an opponent who went 3 hours last night! And still Nole delivers - this is what I watch tennis for! Well done nole!

I don't get into these arguments and I really don't want to but the easy draw thing is something I never get.

1. He's ranked #1 in the world. He should have the easiest route to the final. He's earned it by the way he's played over the past 12 months (I mean that in a general sense).

2. For Rome, Djokovic didn't exactly have to run through the gauntlet. He had an insane match with Murray but other than that most thought he had an easier draw than Rafa from what I gathered.

3. Can't hold it against Rafa that Ferrer withdrew and Roger lost to Gasquet. It happens, part of the sport.

4. It all evens out in the end. Easy draw here, tough draw next time around, average draw after that.

And just so it's known - not attacking what you said wintintu. A lot of people bring up the easy draw as an argument and I never understood why. I could be totally on an island here too :)

I take your point NY and I do agree a number 1 has earned the easiest route but I think Lorenzi, Lopez, Cilic, and Gasquet represents an extraordinarily easy route to a masters 1000 final! Come on! Compare that to Nole's draw of Kubot, Wawrinka, Soderling, and Murray and there really is a big difference. Plus Murray played out-of-his-mind tennis! Anyway, my point was just that Nole beat Rafa when the cards were all stacked in Rafa's favour and I was happy about that! Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Here's to a good French Open :)

Yeah, I agree with you that Djokovic had tougher foes especially that Murray match. Again, it was more a shot at that argument in general rather than specific to this tourney. Thanks for not lashing out on me haha :)

Looking forward to RG now, I would love to see Murray take his first slam when nobody is expecting it! This week can't go by quickly enough. Good luck! :)
