Imagine that the players in the singles division doesnt exist and are replaced by doubles player. Pretend all the doubles players playing singles. who would be no. 1 in the world mate'.

This is the rankings if the doubles players play singles without nadal, federer and roddick

1. Bryan, B.
2. Bjorkman, J.
3. Bryan, M.
4. Zimonjic, N.
5. Nestor, D.
6. Ram, A.
7. Knowles, M.
8. Erlich, J.
9. Bhupathi, M.
10. Ullyett, K

I say Bob Bryan will be number one singles in the world cos he has an all-round baseline game. 2nd will be bjorkman cos he reach wimbly semis before. what about you?

Well, Bjorkman has been ranked as high as No.4 in singles and made the Wimbledon semi a couple of years ago at the age of 34. He has also beaten just about all of the top singles players around during his time, so I would say Bjorkman.

Arnaud Clément has been ranked as high as 10 and made the Australian Open final, losing to Agassi. He has also been in the US Open and Wimbledon quarters, 4th round of the French.

Imo both Llodra, Clement, Santoro and Björkman would be ranked a lot higher than Bob Bryan - just look at their singles results during their carreer.
But to be fair, I have never seen Bob Bryans game outside doubles

he had a fairly decent career in singles a few years back..helped by his huge lefty serve...but i can't recall specifics.. he has nothing on bjorkman or clement though.
