Borat commenting in Belgrade

Hahaha, I don't know if all the US-citizens can use the Bet365 livestream, but the commentator is absolutely hilarous. I havn't laughed this hard in a week! It isn't intentional, it's just darn bad pronunciation. It's obviously a European, possibly ex-yugoslavia, most likely a Serb that is doing all the good job...:)

Anyone that can share this lovely experience with me?

Yes, he is. Can you hear him say "thirty"? He says "tirrty", very annoying to say the least. :D

"His other favorite sport is? Basketball. He likes to play to his friends."

Grammar and pronunciation is taking a beating today.

Yes, its some Serb commentating, I noticed alot of ex-yugo people are having similar pronunciation when speaking English, with a different accent as well.

I just have to revive this sucker. Remember a few gems I thought I might share:

They zoom in on a boat in the canal right next to the arena and the commentator goes:
"...this guy has written book - 'How to make boat in garage'" - priceless if anyone heard it.

They are talking about Todd Martins involvement and cooperation with Novak:
"They stopped doing it together"

Anyone else remember a few? I might have gotten a few words wrong, but I can assure you, when this was on fire he literally made me gasp for air.

He is back. Yes, our bestest of friends and the mighty number one of commentators - rumored to be Novak's relative or something - the serbian "Mr Obvious" Borat

Today he changed Fernando Gonzalez to Fernando Verdasco, at least ten times. He didn't correct himself either, he might maybe didn't even notice himself doing it. Funny as usual.

Funny stuff, reminds me of when I talk to some of my Serbian and Croatian friends in english and purposely start talking like Borat and they never notice anything out of the ordinary with the conversations.

Pity, I would love to hear it!

The funny thing about Borat is that the actor is a British dude supposedly speaking the Kazakh language but actually speaking a combination of Hebrew and nonsense in the movie. Somehow it all just worked out into an all time classic.

Some best of Borat moments from yesterday's F. Lopez v F. Gonzalez match in Belgrade:

1. "He has very good hands (long pause)....Ezpecially the right one.">>I can't remember if he was talking about Lopez or Gonzalez (maybe he was dreaming of Verdasco). ROFL @ Borat inspecting the hands.

2. "There is Spanish music playing on the tennis court for the Spanish-speaking players. Maybe they will feel at home now.">>Between games when the big screen is showing Lopez and Gonzalez on their benches, the commentator is glad that Spanish lyrics are there to calm the players' nerves. This would be a sweet moment if the Borat voice weren't so hiccup-inducing.

3. The periodic exclamations of "Vwoww." Also love the way he said "Speedy Gonzalez" like a stern police officer. All in all, a great match to watch with entertaining commentary to boot. I hope he does the whole tournament.

Hahhaha I can totally hear him saying this.

Only saw the end of the Tipsarevic match, but caught this part: "I might say he wiped the court with his opponent ... in 53 and a half minutes."

Danube river, most beautiful river of Belgrade! Respect.
