I have a Wilson prostaff 97 and recently I noticed that when I bounce the ball against my racket there is a buzzing sound.
How do I know if my racket is cracked? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is no crack on the grip mold, is there any other reason that the racket is buzzing?

If the racquet has a trap door and you havent already, take off the door and shake the racquet. Sometimes some pieces can chip off and get stuck

If it has foam and is not hollow in the handle then there still could be a piece in the hoop. You might have to remove the grommets.

Its theory because I never had that racquet and it might not be hollow in the hoop but most sticks are. If you shake the racquet you may hear something inside

Another possibility is too low a tension. Perfectly good sticks will vibe at their resonance frequency and lowering or increasing the tension will fix it. Are you below say 35lbs of tension??

Shroud is on the right track. The problem is the trap door itself, it's loose. Take it off, replace the layer of double face tape they put there to trap debris and make sure the tape overlaps the ridges that grab the inside of the butt cap. Re-insert. Alternatively, you can just throw the trap door away.
