I have been following the John Shaw video to gain some bouncing action on my serve. I don't literally copy everything but try to incorporate the generall idea. (I've also been trying to experiment with the feel of Jeff Salzenstein's "dirty diaper videos)

Question:
I'm getting good action on the ball. For the safe second serve to the backhand on the Ad side- I'm finding that the general tendency of the bounce is for it to move back into the player. A) What type of serve is this? B) What adjustment do I make for it to bounce away from the player?

Thanks ahead of time you guys are the best.

You are hitting a top/slice spin serve, a very safe, very reliable, first spin serve needed for a BASIS for a complete serving repetoire.
A twist serve, rightie to ad court, will bounce into the sidelines, but curve normal as it leaves your racket.

Best instructional video I've ever seen. Literally transformed my serve into weapon. After implementing some o these ideas on my second serve - for some reason my first serve improved as well even though I don't use his techniques for my first serve - actually correction- here is where I first learned that tossing arm should be parallel to the base line on. So I do do that on my first serve.....
